A shallow stone basin that resides in a cabinet in Dumbledore's office, it holds a whitish, bright liquid, which looks to Harry like 'wind made solid' or 'light made liquid'. The liquid is actually thoughts from Dumbledores' mind, which he siphons into the basin using his wand. Touching the liquid draws the person into the thoughts, much like Tom Riddles diary. |
