Unforgivable Curses |

There are three unforgivable curses, so named because using them results in a life sentence in Azkaban. The three curses are the Killing Curse (Avada Kedavra), the Imperius Curse (Imperio - the victim will be under complete command of the caster) and the Cruciatus Curse (Crucio - causes excruciating pain in the victim). |
