Editorial Review

Tania is a princess of Faerie.

And now she must return to the Mortal World.

Once upon a time, Tania was an ordinary girl. But then she was swept into another world, where she was the long-lost princess of the elegant and magical court of Faerie, and only she could save the court from great peril.

Now Tania—and her true love, Edric—will go back to the Mortal Realm to seek Queen Titania, lost hundreds of years ago while searching for Tania.

Their return leads to struggles with Tania's much-loved mortal parents and friends as she and Edric try to conceal their secret. But much more serious dangers lurk: The sinister Lord Drake is not yet defeated, they are pursued by dark supernatural forces, and Tania's two worlds are about to collide in amazing and frightening ways she never could have anticipated.

A great sequal to a great book 2007-11-10
This book, I would have to say, is almost or as good as the first one. This story takes place where the first one ends. Tania and Edric are in our world, searching for the lost queen Titania. Tania is soon caught between two worlds and has to decide which one to choose. It's very good, and a story which you will have trouble putting down.

Second of a great series! 2007-10-10
This books are listed as young adult, but I have enjoyed both of them very much. Very well written, holds your attention and you want more!

Things little girls are made of. 2008-04-20
I bought this book for my niece. She's at the age where princes and princesses and what they do are immensly important to her. It's a book. Any book you can get a child to read is a very good thing. I always see to it she has something she wants to read and several in line waiting. Instead of watching mind killing television, she is reading. This is a book she wanted so as far as I'm concerned, it's a good one.

Fun, quick read 2008-04-16

Tania and Edric have entered the Mortal World (specifically London) in search of Tania's mother; Titania, Queen of the Faerie Realm. They are challenged with a series of obstacles to prevent them In their search. First off, news comes from the world of Faerie that the throne has been seized by the Sorcerer King, who has usurped the throne with the help of Gabriel Drake, Tania's erstwhile suitor, and her sister, Rathina, the woman who loves Drake. Secondly, the King has released the Gray Knights, a vicious and deadly band of assassins bent on killing Tania and anyone who could stand in the Sorcerer King's way. Third is almost more destructive and terrible, and that is Tania's mortal parents, who have forbade her from seeing Edric at all!

This series is getting better and better. It's still fluff, don't get me wrong, but I am so wrapped up in the story that I don't even mind it that much. It's a very quick read, and one that is surprisingly compelling. I do have to knock points off in parts for cheese factor, but overall the story is very engaging and readable. I like it much more than I thought I would and do intend to finish reading the next one.

A Fun Fantasy Adventure 2008-04-01
I had read the previous book, The Faerie Path, a while ago and was excited to read this sequel. And it did not disappoint. The book started off with Tania and Edric, returning from Faerie to the Mortal World to find Tania's mother that has been missing from Faerie for five hundred years. But this task proves even more difficult than they expected, as Tania and Edric must hide their secrets from the Mortals, and the evil Lord Drake returns into Tania's life, haunting her in her dreams. And if that's not enough, Tania is pursued by other forces that could ruin her quest and change Faerie in ways they never could have expected.

Of course, this book doesn't have the best writing I have ever read nor is it the best book I have ever read. I still really, really liked it, but it's not the greatest thing out there. But it is a fun-filled, exciting fantasy adventure that is great for anyone looking for a light read.

Second Time Queen 2007-12-26
If a book has an image of a fairy on the cover, or the word "fairy" in the title, chances are I'll pick it up. Such was the case last year with The Faerie Path, the first book in this series. I enjoyed the story, which was driven by both classic myths and modern characters. That continued in the second book, The Lost Queen.

As Tania returns to the modern world, she must struggle with the urge to reveal her true identity to her 'parents' while embarking on a quest with Edric at her side to find her true mother. She yearns to find a balance, to put one foot in each world, refusing to believe that straddling the two lands will make her a residence of neither.

With an action-packed second act, this book will not disappoint fans of The Faerie Path, and it will make them all the more eager for the next book in the line.

Better than the first one! 2007-11-22
The first book was interesting and a good read, but this one was even better! I completely couldn't put it down until I finished it and seriously can't wait for the third book! :) This series will probably become one that I read over and over again!
