For a short book, this one packs it all in. This is outstanding as a pre-marriage book as well as an indispensable aid for husbands. If you were to bring these principles into your marriage, it would be guaranteed to improve. Even if you've read a bunch of marriage books I think you'll still learn some new stuff in this one. This book is very useful and user friendly, especially for those who like lists. I'm guessing this will be a book I'll keep referring to...

THIS BOOK BROUGHT MY MARRIAGE BACK FROM EXTINCTION WHEN I GAVE IT TO MY HUSBAND. WHEN WE FOUGHT, I WOULD END UP YELLING, "GO READ YOUR PAPERBACK BOOK" !!! HE DID AND I THANK THE GOOD LORD THAT HE WAS WILLING TO READ THAT LITTLE PAPERBACK BOOOK. This book contains the wisdom to turn a troubled marriage around. My husband had lost completly what it meant to cherish and love me. We were doomed. No other book, not even the Bible, was helping to breath life back into our marriage. This book finally became the words that spoke to him. WIVES, BUY A COPY FOR YOUR HUSBAND. OK in a pinch

I bought this product because my son had one (also called the "Shark") that would pick up sizable dog kibbies off the floor. This one was $20.00 more than he paid and it does an OK job if you're looking for a quick cleanup. The suction does not seem to be nearly that of what my son had, but it will pick up dog hair and crumbs and such. Also, I find that the bagless compartment has to be emptied quite often. Sorry, I couldn't say more. I was really excited to buy this machine, but not so excited when I actually used it.

If you read this book with an open mind, with the mindset that you could do better as a husband, this book will rock your world.

When I read this book I was under the impression that he had intimate knowledge of what was wrong with my marriage! This was over 10 years ago and I have to say I still refer to this book from time to time. The insight Smalley offers into the male and female psyches is uncanny. He knows exactly why women are the way they are and how men, through their woefull lack of understand of gender differnces, exacerbate the problem.

I have recommended this book to so many people I ought to get a commission. But I believe and have experienced the fruit of applying the understanding of this book in my own life and marriage.

Whether you have been married 4 months or 40 years, this book, and the companion volume "For Better or Best" will show you how to have a Godly marriage based on trust, committment, and love.
