great for baby's bookshelf

Ive received several baby shower invites over the last couple of years that ask for a "book for the bab's bookshelf". I love this book because it has great pictures and tells the child that on the night he/she was born the whole world celebrated. When the child is a little older and you read them the story, it even asks you to "wiggle your toes" and other small directions that are fun because the book becomes interactive. Fun book :)

WOW, do I love this book! On a good day, it gives me chills. On a better day, well, the tears might start flowing! Beautiful, beautiful prose. Enchanting illustrations with little surprises hidden in them. Beautiful, rhyming verse with very special meaning. I first ordered this as a birthday gift for a relative and have since ordered it again and again, for my daughter for her upcoming birthday, and for other friends and relatives. I even ordered a back-up copy- I always like to give books as gifts and this makes such a special gift! You won't be sorry with this selection!

Wonderful for all ages!

I was given this precious book for my new granddaughter. On my own birthday my husband mentioned he forgot a card, and I asked him to read this book to me! I felt so loved and honored, and have continued the tradition of reading this to other dear ones of all ages. A priceless gift!

I bought this for my child and have bought it as a baby gift for friends many times since. Everyone loves it. Very endearing.

Our favorite book!

Our son was born at night, which is why I bought the book - just for the title. We read it to him everynight, and even now, 6 months later, I still get choked up while reading it.

We love the message of it - that there is only one YOU ever - and will read this to our son as long as he lets us.

Best book we have in his library - by far.

nice, different

This is a nice (mostly)picture book. Some of the drawings are a little abstract for a toddler. The more I read it to my child, the more I like it. I guess it's growing on me. Nice message -that the child is special.

This is a wonderful book! It is my favorite book to give as a baby gift. I have given it to grandmother's to read to their new grandbaby. The illustrations are beautiful.

Was Your Baby Born on the Full Moon?

Mine was and this book is so special to us. Whenever there is a full moon, I tell my son, "Wyatt, there's your moon". This book is beautifully illustrated and the story is wonderful. It gives me the goose bumps I each time I read it, it's like it was written for us. A great book for any parent and child!
