Finally, practical answers to tough realities! 2007-09-24
the realities of inclusion in today's classrooms are tough...this book finally deals with some of the difficult questions by giving real life answers that work....it's uplifting, moving and very, very practical. I know the title says "you're welcome", but I say a great big "THANKS!!"

Tremendously helpful! 2008-01-23
"You're Welcome: 30 Innovative Ideas for the Inclusive Classroom" is an extremely well written, easy to read and user friendly series of books. This series was tremendously helpful to me in preparing for IEP meetings at my son's school by helping me better understand the process in general and helping me identify goals and strategies to suggest to the team. This series was also helpful to me in other aspects of my life (unrelated to my son, who has special education needs) by teaching problem solving strategies and support strategies that I have utilized in my personal relationships and work relationships. Schwarz and Kluth have done an outstanding job moving the field of special education forward and helping educators and families support people with special needs. THANK YOU!

A great place to start!! 2007-10-30
These books are a great point of entry for parents and teachers to begin meaningful dialogues and conversations with students at the very center. The 30 ideas that Patrick and Paula share are filled with examples - appropriate for any aged student, and informational for new or more experienced professionals.

Great Teacher Resource 2007-10-25
Very easy read and provides useful information for any educator who has children with different learning styles and abilities. Purchased for my son's teacher & it has become a resource in the school's teacher library.

Great Read! 2007-10-02
I just got this from my principal and read it in a day! Some really original ideas -- especially on differentiation-- I used several of them immediately.
