TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! 2002-03-12
This is one of the best books in the series! ... Tristan and Genia and Mora are trying to track down Devon, but are having some problems. Jame, the 3rd twin is in the thick of the revolution on Mars. Shimoda is getting closer to stopping Quietus once and for all. But Devon takes over the moon and now is holding the world hostage. Tristan, Genia, and Mora are running out of time. In the final book Earth's fate is in the balance. If you liked the first 4 books. You'll like this one!!

Meltdown is coming. 2001-01-15
What is probably the most disappointing book in the 2099 series is still a book that readers will find difficult to put down, particularly because the plot races along with each passing chapter and the ultimate showdown grows closer... In 2099 #5: MELTDOWN the trouble for Tristan grows. He and Genia are trapped in a world so utterly close to its own destruction, a world in which meltdown is causing it to come to a shattering end. Is there anything they can do to stop the ultimate

destruction of Earth -- and its future?

Totally Awesome 2000-08-16
John Peel is the best author! This book was just as incredible as the first 4! Hes not like most authors where after the first book it gets boring! They are all great! Anyone who hasn't read this series is a fool! If you liked Diadem you'll love 2099!

Sweet book! 2000-07-07
This is one of the best books in the series! The sci-finess of it was great. The book takes a big step in Tristan and Genia's relationship together. I really enjoyed it . And for the guy that said it was only good for the first two and a half words well he is just a huge loser.Just a plain LOSER!

It rocked 2000-06-10
"It was good... for the first 2 and a half words!" the person who wrote this review is an idiot! eather that or he wants to throw off readers but im sticking to idiot dont believe a thing he says about the book its all lies personaly I really liked this book It made a few weird things happen but it had some pretty good plot twists

John Peel is at it again 2000-06-03

It was good... for the first 2 and a half words! 2000-05-06
Geez, I can't believe John killed off Jame! Okay, okay, I admit, it was cool when they captured Devon and "Tristan" and had them fight to the death, but did Devon really have to do that? Also, why did Mora say that she "liked" Genia. Does John have issues that we should wonder about? Also, in the story Barton (Was that his name? I forget. Baxter?) was long time friends with Charle, how did that happen, wasn't he a reject. There are an awful lot of plot holes that I wish to be clued in on... is John preparing us for the series finale? That would make sense. But, for all you people that hate disappointments, don't read this book.

Another great book from the 2099 series. 2000-04-21
MELTDOWN was another great 2099 book by the amazing John Peel. In this book, the evil Quietus and the even more evil Devon are closer to taking over the world. Only three teens, Tristan (who also happens to be Devon's clone), Genia, and Mora, can stop Devon. Meanwhile, on Mars, it seems there's another clone, Jame. Read the book to find out the rest - I guarantee you won't be dissapointed by this action-filled sci-fi series.
