Editorial Review
Now, the classic books from the library of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry--Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them and Quidditch Through the Ages--are available in hardcover in a sturdy boxed gift set. (These books are written by J.K. Rowling herself under the pseudonyms Newt Scamander and Kennilworthy Whisp.) Finally, Muggles will have the chance to discover where the Quintaped lives, what the Puffskein eats, and why it is best not to leave milk out for a Knarl. The Quidditch textbook explains where the Golden Snitch came from, how the Bludgers came into existence, and why the Wigtown Wanderers have pictures of meat cleavers on their clothes. Both books, designed to look like Harry Potter's actual, used Hogwarts textbooks, feature silly scribblings from Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Proceeds from the sale of this gift set will go to improving and saving the lives of children around the world. Harry Potter fans, rejoice! (All ages)

Harry Potter: From the Library at Hogwarts 2008-05-04
What a great read, it really gave the reader a little more insight into the world of Harry Potter. Both books had a wimsical but educational feel to them. I really enjoyed the written inserts of harry and Ron writing in the book, just like any other kid would do. It allowed the books to have a comical touch added. A great read for any age group, now if only there would be "A Hstory of Hogwarts" to go with it , I believe it would complete.

Very good books 2008-03-30
Really nice books with lots of information about Quidditch and all kind of beasts. They are short but you can read them many times. They have some funny comments too.
The books arrived in perfect condition (and I'm an international customer)

Harry Potter Schoolbooks 2008-03-25
These are really cute hard cover books. You get two of Harry's school books in a cardboard sleeving. The books have scribbles in them from Harry notes and his friends notes. Just like one would imagine his books to be if it were real. Kids will just love this! Look what Harry wrote in the book! It's Harry's book. Imagine that! Full color pages.

Great Reading For Teens 2008-03-15
I bought this item for my 8-year-old grandson, who is enthralled by the Harry Potter series. His reading skills are good, but he shares the moment with his father who is a neuro-scientist. Their reading together is a bonding experience.

Cool HP and on, worth buying for any true fan 2008-02-12
This is a two book series from JK Rowling that was written to help raise money for UK's Comic Relief. Its a great read for any Harry Potter fan looking to enter the world once again. It's written with good humor and is fun for all ages.

Harry Potter textbooks awesome! 2008-01-07
If, like me, you have been in the dumps a bit since finishing the 7th HP book then here is a little remedy. JK Rowling takes us a little deeper into Harry's world through these fun little gems. I have been reading "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" with my 8- and 6-year-old sons and we are having a great time. Here you will find more detail on many of the creatures, small and large, friendly and terrifying, that were mentioned in each of the books. It is even more fun to read with "hand-written" comments from Harry, Ron and even Hermione found inside. I can't wait to finish it and move on to "Quidditch Through the Ages" with my boys!!

Fantastic Book 2007-12-18
This book is wonderful, if your children are as addicted to Harry Potter (and everything that goes along with the Harry Potter world), as mine are, this is the book for them!!!! My children have showed their friends, and they are so envious. The other children wanted to know where to get the book. WE LOVE IT!!!!!

Clever and Fun 2007-12-07
This was a delightful supplement that any Harry Potter fan should have in their collection. I enjoyed both the clever history of Quidditch and reading about Beasts of the magical world, some of which I was already familiar with from the books. A quick and enjoyable read...

Just for extend your knowledge about the magical world 2007-11-17
These two books are not about Harry Potter but the magical world. If you're a HP fan, and you want to know more or get to understand things in the HP books it is necessary to read these books.

They are written in a way that you think they were written by magical people (not muggles) and their content is quite fun. J.K. Rowling once again get to compose a book very simple to read with quotes that make us say "ahh, so this is how/why... in book...".

Do not expect to see any reference to a HP book because they were written years before the time of Harry. The only reference is some lines written by Ron Weasley in the magical beasts book just like when you write a notebook in a boring class, and a list of people who read the book in the case of the quidditch book.
