2 yr old loves it!

My two year old sings this story in her class/daycare. She will sing this song every time she sees or hears a firetruck. I've never heard it and I know the words! I will be ordering it though!

My daughter found out about this book in school so I bought it for her because she really likes the song, it comes with a CD to sing along with.

my 3 and a half year old son's class did this song on stage for our pre-school's 1st annual Thanksgiving Day Parade. They loved it! And all the classes love singing it too. I teach the early 3s and all I have to say is I want to ride in a firetruck and my class of 14 all start singing. I love how fast they learned it and how much they love it.

Kids Love It

My two grandsons, ages 12 and 26 months, are absolutely crazy about this book and cd. The 12 month old cries every time the song ends, and the two year old asks for the book to be read over and over again. I was absolutely floored by their response. A definite winner at our house!

Awesome childrens book and music for toddlers!

We bought 5 copies of this book and CD for all our neices and nephews, they are in love with the music and the book and love to hear the story and dance and sing to the music. We will be buying more copies of this book and CD for our newest nieces.

Perfect for Preschool class to Enjoy

I am a Music Teacher at Montessori preschool. My class includes children ages 2 1/2 to 6 years. This story and music are perfect for the whole class. Boys especially will enjoy this story, however, girls will really like it too. The music is good quality, that is what I search for in a story-music lesson. The book is beautifully illustrated and well written. I have purchased other Scholastic Sing and Read Storybooks and they are great also.
I will read the book to the class; then we will listen to the musical story and sing along with the CD. All of the students will love to participate in this musical lesson.

The Cutest Song for Kid's Too Perform

At first glance, the book may be a little baby-ish for your preschooler. However, the CD that it comes with has the "I wanna Ride in a Firetruck" song that is adorable and appropriate for kids from 3 to 7. Teachers, our child's class performed this at assembly in full fireman costume and it was a huge hit! The song talks all about being a fireman...from getting dressed, to squirting that firehose, to riding home for a "hot, hot dinner" and dreaming about riding in his Firetruck. It's easy for the kids to memorize and my son still loves to sing it all the time.

A must for kids who love fire trucks!

Our almost 4-yr-old son knew most of the song within one week... and he loves to read the book together. Great illustrations. The CD is great with B-I-N-G-O, the Fire Truck Song and She'll be comin round the mountain on it. This was a lucky pick... and definately a keeper. The story details the fire fighter's day... from work, to what he eats for supper and what he dreams about when he goes to bed. I highly recommend it!

great book/song!

i teach in a three-year-old preschool classroom. the children LOVE this song/book! they want to listen to it all the time. and they love to sing along!! helps to quiet the kids quickly for circle time.

The Kids and adults Absolutely Love it!

My friend teaches kindergarten in a rural school nearby and she accepted my gift of this remarkable song and book, not sure what to expect! But after playing the song Fire Truck and showing the book at the same time -- she reported the kids were excited, smiling and delighted!(and so were the parent helpers visitng that day!) Now they ask for it several times a day!
I gave the song and cd to another kindergarten teacher and she explained to both the afternoon and morning classes that I'd provided the song and book! They grinned and began to sing it for me!
Can't say enough about how fun this combination of song and CD are!
