Cute book - my toddler loves it. 2008-06-17
My 18-month old carries this book around with him during the day. The photos keep him busy and he loves turning the pages.

There really isn't a story to the book. Just animal noises. Fun to read and I've heard him practicing the noises when he looks at the book himself.

Cute book. I'm glad I bought it.

A Great Book for the Littlest Learner 2008-06-12
My 7 month old grandson loves this book! The real photographs are extremely appealing. There is just enough text for his attention span. He loves to turn the pages and looks at each picture intently. He has dogs (both real and stuffed) of his own and has really been interested in the dog in the picture. The size of the book is perfect for his hands. We have only had this book 3 days, and he wants to read it over and over; I think I've read it about 25 times already!

It's a hit! 2008-01-21
My 17 month old loves ducks, so she loves this book. It is sturdy and has real life pictures that are great.

Quack! 2007-12-29
My niece just started talking and she knows her animal sounds. Quack! is one of her favorites, so this book is a big hit!

A children's library addition 2007-11-07
I am a librarian for my church library. I'm always looking for a good book at a reasonable price. Amazon.com helps me meet my budget. We opened the use of the church library this October to the day care located in out church. "Who says Quack?" is a great addition to the children's portion of our library! The pictures are cute (I am a sucker for duckies) and the size is easy for small hands to hold. It probably will hold up to some teeth chewing on the cover, not to my joy though. I would have preferred the pudgy book to have been a little larger for ease in processing for library identification. It would have been nice to see more inside the book before purchasing too. I cannot complain about shipping; the book arrived in a reasonable time span.

Short book with vivid pictures 2007-09-08
This is a good book that has real pictures of the actual animals, instead of illustrations. My husband shows it to our 19-month old daughter after reading a bedtime story. He shows her the pictures and points out things, but doesn't read it. My daughter seems to enjoy looking at the pictures.

It's a short book with few pages, but it is sturdy and we hope it will last a long time.

A big hit at our house! 2007-08-01
My daughter loved to read this book over and over again, and now my son, 15 months, picks it up and wants it read to him over and over every time he sees it. The photographs are great--I think that's why they've both loved it so much.

His favorite book indeed! 2006-09-22
This is without question my sons favorite book, ever since he was a little baby about 4 months until now 13 months everytime I take the book out to read it to him he starts laughing and starts getting excited. He absolutely love the book. I have other books but none grab his attention more than this one. Great book and it teaches about different sounds animals make.

My baby loves it! 2003-04-10
Been reading this to my baby since he was born. He loves it. He's 7 months now & as soon as I get it out he gets really excited. I think he likes the photos (rather than drawings), & the rhyming text. The text is short enough he doesn't get tired of the picture before it's done. And I can teach him his "Baby Signs" with each picture of the animal. I'm sure he'll like doing the animal sounds himself evenutally. And it's a very sturdy book. I let him turn the pages & it's holding up great. We have a ton of books & this is one of the ones I'd definetly get.

Excellent for teaching little ones about REAL animals! 2002-12-03
With my first child, I looked for a board book or picture book about animals, but the only books I could find were cartoon interpretations of real animals and my baby could not relate to them at all. I wanted to teach my child what REAL animals looked like and I was so glad I found this book! The pictures are very simple: a close up of a real animal against a simplified background (ex: grass). The text is also simple and tells the reader what sound each animal makes. I used this book to teach my first child the names of animals and the sounds they make. My second child (currently 13 months) absolutely adores this book and we read it over and over again. She is not particularly interested in learning words, but she is now trying to imitate the animal sounds when we read this book.
