I love this book!

I really like this book. I thought it was very, very, very, funny when horrible Penelope Pinkpaws becomes jealous when Angelina is chosen to play the Rose Fairy Princess and she is cast as the dancing flower. When Angelina realized she had to fly across the stage on a single wire, she has to overcome her fear to keep the part. When Angelina tries to fly on a single wire during rehearsal, she tricks Miss Lilly into thinking she fainted. I never tricked anyone into thinking I fainted. And I've never played in a famous ballet before. I've only played in a school play.Penelope thinks Angelina won't be able to dance the part. But Miss Lilly doesn't recast Penelope as the Rose Fairy Princess. Angelina suggests Alice will fly across the stage instead. But when their plan fails, Angelina doesn't want to let Miss Lilly down. She flies on the single wire. My favorite part was when Angelina is cast is the Rose Fairy Princess.
Wonderful tale

Beautiful art work and a well paced story, makes this book a favorite at our house. Angelina gets casted as the Rose Fairy Princess, but learns that she will have to fly across the stage on one thin wire. She tries to seek help with Mrs. Lilly, Alice, and even Zivo. The story unfolds well and my daughter was reassured that the adults in her world would not put her in danger - just like Angelina had nothing to fear.
