Superbly enhanced with the inclusion of more than 170 beautifully reproduced color illustrations, "Van Gogh Paintings: The Masterpieces" by Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art expert Belinda Thomson showcases what are commonly acknowledged as the best works ever created by Van Gogh during his brief but brilliant career as an artist. While many of the works represented and discussed are drawn from the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, there are also some lesser known examples drawn from other sources as well.
