love the Llama family

We love the llama books. This book is read many times daily in our home and affectionately called "Mama book" by our 2 year old son. The stories are simple yet ones that every parent and child can relate to, on some level. We love the rhymes and the art/drawings are wonderful too. A must have for anyone who has to go on errands with children, or for the children who have to run errands with parents. We are hoping to use it to teach our boys self control and patience.

My two year old loves this book. She wants me to read it to her over and over. We love it so much that we are buying Llama Llama Red Pajama also.

Llama Drama with Baby and Mama

This book is really cute. I bought it to read to my son and he seems to really like it. He is only 6 months so there is a limit to what he will sit through. The book is well illustrated and is written in rhyme so that is probably the appeal for him. I like it too. I read a few books to him every day and there are only a few I am not tired of. This is one of the ones I look forward to reading. When I read the title I thought to myself... "What could this book be about?" Llama Llama Red Pajama is basically a book about Llama Drama with Baby and Mama. I say buy it!

Llama Llama Happy Mama got this book!

My 2 and 4 year old and I, LOVE Llama Llama Red Pajama, it described and illustrated our bedtime dramas perfectly. This follow up, Llama Llama Mad at Mama is the most excellent follow up, it now describes perfectly our trips the the shopping center, (now dubbed the Shop-o-Rama!!).
The illustrations are just gorgeous, they really capture the feeling and looks I get from my own kids. The prose is witty rhymes. Love it.
I simply can't say enough great things about this, a gem of a book!!

My 2 year old daughter loves this book! We just got it at the library and we read it over and over again! It presents a very real situation- the kiddo who doesn't want to go shopping with mama- for kids and parents and provides a happy solution/ending. Not only is the rhyming fun and the pictures great but both my daughter and I connect with the story!

Another Great Llama Llama Story!

We loved the first Llama Llama book, and this one is just as good. For anyone with kids who are impatient in the grocery store, this is a perfect read. Little Llama once again learns to be patient and enjoy spending time with mama Llama. Highly recommended.

Not as good as the first

We loved Anna Dewdney's first book, but this one didn't quite live up to the same standards. It was just so-so. The story wasn't as good and the pictures didn't seem as lovely as in the first book.Llama, Llama Red Pajama

27 month old loves this book

Our 27 month old grand daughter LOVES this story. She has us read it over and over. She is even getting to know the words. The story deals with real emotions and experiences and has a real lesson.
