Good Laughs 2006-02-17
This is an awesome book of Poetry for children!!!! I, as and adult love to read it too. There's a lot of good laughs for you and your children. It's not a huge book, so it's not overwhleming for a child and inexpensive as well. Worth the buy, worth the laugh!

Kid Appeal 2001-01-30
As a teacher I am constantly trying to find ways to engage my students in writing. My students can't get enough of Mr. Lansky's work. It has inspired children to write who have extreme difficulty doing so! It's a must have in a classroom and a great book to have in the home!!!

I liked it! But if you want to see for yourself.... 1999-09-22
I really liked this book and was surprised that all the reviewers did not.

What are we teaching our children? 1999-02-26
This book makes you want to go out and buy up the many volumes by the greats of children's poetry (because it pales in comparison). The works of such luminaries as Dr. Seuss, Jack Prelutsky, Judith Viorst, or Shel Silverstein are clever, upbeat (and most of all) fun! On the other hand, this book is negative in tone, mean in spirit, and panders to the basest instincts of a first grader. If you read this book to your child, you'll have to wash out your own mouth with soap.

Very funny! 1998-06-24
Finally, a book my kids can't put down. My 8 and 10 year old love these funny poems. They read them over and over again and like to share their favorites with their friends. They've even been inspired to write some of their own poetry.
