I was gifted this book about 4 or 5 years ago and my family has really enjoyed it over those years. I recently ordered another one for a friend as a Christmas gift. My copy has held up (made in South America), I am apprehensive about the newer one because it is made in China.

When I first opened this book and the tornado twisted around I was amazed.
This Pop-up book is beautifully designed. Every page comes to life, with incredible art work that will amaze not only your child, but yourself.
I bought "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" Pop-up" for my Granddaughter who is 10 and she was thrilled to add this to her collection of Pop-up books she has gotten over the years.
If you like something beyond the normal book, then "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" Pop-up is for you.
This book is a treasure and I would recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful

What a magnificent book! Every page has a beautiful pop-up and accompanying text. We are avid collectors of Sabuda's works. But whether you collect pop-up books or have never opened one before, please check this one out. You won't be disappointed. It is a treat for the whole family, and especially for the little ones and their mothers. This is the best pop-up book, most accessible and most beautiful one I have ever held in my hands. I highly recommend it to everyone. My other strong recommendation is a beautiful story about cats titled Why Some Cats are Rascals, Book 2.

The Book is Alive

This book is pure magic. It is the greatest of all Robert Sabuda pop up creations (I should know I have a complete collection). It is true to the original story, which is a little different than the movie. When you open the first page a tornado rises up out of the book and spins with enough force that you can feel the wind on your face. The witch actually melts when the water is poured on her. The hot air balloon "inflates" and rises up out of the book with the wizard in the basket. Dorothy really clicks her heels at the end to go home. Those are just my favorite parts, but there is so much more. The vivid colors on every page shimmer and pop. This is a dynamite book! Get it now, you will love it.

Captivating book

I ordered this book for my 8 year old niece. She really likes it, especially the tornado page at the beginning. She is just discovering the world of books and is always thrilled when she can actually keep one versus having to return it to the library!

Charming

This book was recommended by a friend who has it and reads it to her granddaughter. I bought it to give as a gift to my granddaughter, but was so thrilled at the charming and spectacular content, I have kept it for myself. The pop ups have such amazing color and are on heavy enough paper that it should last a long time. I have been a great fan of all the Oz books (which I Have, some printed in the early 1900's) and believe this will be a great addition to my collection.

Wizard of Oz Popup Book

My father got my sister and I some beautiful fairy tale popup books from Europe when we were children. We have never seen a popup book come even close to the details in those books. I took a chance after reading the reviews and ordered the Wizard of Oz popup for my sister for Christmas. Well, it comes very close to the books we had as children. Its very entertaining, even for us "older" kids.

I BOUGHT THIS BOOK FOR A 2 MONTH OLD BABY FOR WHEN SHE GETS OLDER.I OPENED THE BOOK WHEN IT CAME IN THE MAIL AND I FELT LIKE A LITTLE KID IT WAS SO AWESOME. EACH PAGE IS FILLED WITH AMAZING DETAIL. IT WILL REALLY PUT A SMILE ON YOUR FACE
