Really nice!

I bought this book as a way to teach my class about "pioneer days" using The Little House series. We read the Little house picture books and learned about life in a log cabin. I copied the paper dolls from this book and we colored them in and cut & pasted them into a log cabin they made from brown paper. My first graders really enjoyed it.

Laura Ingalls Paper doll Book

The Paper Doll book was much prettier than I expected. The painted background for the dolls is beautiful. the clothes needed to be cut out as opposed to being punched out, but my seven year old has not found that a deterrent. She enjoys playing with them.

Little House Books Paper Dolls

Very cute. My granddaughter liked them very much. sShe'd never seen paper dolls before. A welcome change from all the techno / video / game-boy "stuff" for kids. Allows for a little imagination to be experienced.

I bought this for my 7 year-old daughter for Christmas. She really liked the dolls, and we thought the backgrounds and the pockets for the dolls were great. The only problem is that even though the dolls are punch-outs, the clothes have to be cut out very precisely with scissors, so she needed a lot of help with that.

I'm not sure why the description says "easy to remove" clothes, because I had to cut everything except the dolls out. Maybe they meant easy to remove from the dolls, or maybe I just got a bad lot! But I had no idea I was going to have to cut everything out in order to use it! My hand is hurting! It's a cute set but also a little flimsy (while punching out the dolls a couple of them tore on the tabs).
