Editorial Review
Dear Annabelle,
Hi, my name's Guy. In case you've never heard of me, I'm sending this because my Dad and your Dad think we ought to be e-mail pen-pals. I bet you've got far better things to do than write to a boy you've never even met, so I won't mind if you don't want to bother.
Best wishes,
Guy Woodham
Dear woodham@woodworks.com,
You're right, I've never heard of you. However, as this is clearly a Dad thing and I will get hassled by He Who Must Be Obeyed, I will add you to my list.
Your turn, Annabelle
P.S. Your name's got to go. You surely can't expect me to write "Hi Guy" at the beginning of a letter? I mean, yuk. It rhymes!
Though reluctant to correspond at first, Guy and Annabelle become fast cyber-friends and, just maybe, something more. But their budding relationship creates havoc when they start to speculate about what caused a feud between their fathers, letting their imaginations run wild -- with hilarious results.

hilarious he-said-she-said novel
2006-08-14
Annabelle and Guy's fathers suggest that they e-mail each other. Having nothing better to do (and trying to appease their parents), the try it. Though at first they are a bit reluctant, e-mailing only to please their dads, they soon become fast friends, maybe even more. But then things go horribly awry when they try to find out why their fathers haven't spoken in so many years, yet are anxious for the two of them to communicate. Their theories are absolutely hilarious and will have you in stitches. The best part? Chris wrote Annabelle's voice, and Linda wrote Guy's.
slow moving, british teen novel

This is one of the best books I have ever read and I read a lot. A whole lot. I m a bookworm. If the authors or anyone who can influnce one of them read this(long shot I know but I have to try....) PLEASE let there be a sequal... and then another... and another.... at least 1 sequal. The book is about Annabelle and Guy whose parents knew each other and suggested they started writing over the internet become friends, and then thier imaginations go wild and they think.... well, you have to read the book, which I reccomend to anyone and everyone.

I'm going to tell you about a book that is personally one of my personal favourites. The plot is simple. A boy and girl meet by e-mail. As you read on, the characters find out about their parents' past. It all ends happy, though.
I thought the characters in the book (Annabelle, Guy and their parents) were very strong. My favourite character is Annabelle because she has such a strong will and quite stubborn. I also liked her because i can relate to her. My friends at school say that I remind them of her, (my friends have also read the book!). I feel sorry for guy because of what has happend to him in the past.
I loved this book. It was funny and very sarcastic, and also quite sad in some places : *o ( .
I totally think there should be a sequal to this book and I could write a lot more, but I'll stop. It was great and i recommend it to young teens.
Whoa.....

This has got to be one of the weirdest romances I have ever read in my life. Imagine the whole thing done in emails! But i thought it was halarious! I mean at one part of the book that took off there socks and checked there feet...haha. I guess you had to read it...lol. Anyways, even though some of the english terms were hard to understand, im a american this book was still horibly funny and I would recomend it to anyone who needs a good laugh. Also, on the preview pages of the book (I forget what you call them...) it does has this writting like the two authours are chatting and linda tells chris she has a good idea for a book and chris asks what and she says that they email each other or something like that. And chris asks what the plot and linda says there isnt one yet. And she wants HIM to play the girl! HAHA. I thought that made it even more funny the male writer playing the girl.....lol. Anyways, this book was awesome to the end and very unique.
