Interesting Fold-Out Surprise Book for Babies

Each page in this book has a giant fold-out page for babies to open. The question on the top of the page is answered when you open the page.

"What does the furry lion cub say?"

Open page to see: Picture of a baby lion and the word: "Growl!" You could also enhance the reading experience by making fun purring sounds like cats make or other sounds a baby lion would make.

Each page is different because pages have flaps that open up, down and across.

Lovely pictures of baby animals and lots of color and activity. These books encourage early conversations between parent and child and help a child to develop language skills.

Grreat..........BUT

This product really tickled my 2-year old granddaughter who is very enthralled with animals and stickers, BUT one of the stickers was missing when I received it.

Our son must have read this book five times a day between the ages of one and two. He loved lifting the flaps of the book up and hearing all the animal noises. Lots of eye-catching color and great pictures. This little book will always hold a place in our hearts :)

Great gift for budding reader!

Absolutely adorable photos of a cat, puppy, tiger cub, baby monkey, zebra, elephant, penguin, butterfly, fish, starfish, bunny, etc. all entice little fingers to experience textures and to hear first words associated with them. What a fun and clever learning experience!

Even the book's padded cover adds to the sensory delights. I can't imagine a cuter first book about animal friends to entice babies to explore the world around them.

My daughter's favorite book!

This was the first book that my daughter ever paid attention to, starting at around 6 months or so. She loves the photos, loves to lift the flaps, and LOVES to hear the animal noises and try to make them herself. By 10 months old she was growling like a lion, and now she says "booooooooo" whenever she sees the elephant. This book even calms her down when she is crying! Every baby should have a copy of this book.

This book is loads of fun for our one-year-old! He loves being able to lift the big flaps on each page to hear us make the animal sounds. The book is set up so that when you open a page, the left-hand page has a picture of an animal (chimp, lion, elephant, parrot, frog, & polar bear). The text on top of the flap on the right side says "What does the ____ say?" When your child lifts the flap, there is a close-up picture of the animal with its' mouth open, and the text says the sound that animal makes. The pictures are perfect for little ones who are just learning about animals, and the sounds they make are silly and fun! This book is very durable, and has stood up to our little guy "reading" it many times daily. We also have another book in this series called "Noisy Farm" which is just as good and has some more familiar animals in it. My baby and I highly recommend them!
