Developed by the same team of Ken Blackburn and Jeff Lammers, Pocket Flyers Paper Airplane Book features 12 Lilliputian-size models, for a total of 74 planes. The models are about one-quarter the size of the planes in the previous books and are designed with original full-color graphics. There are easy folding instructions for each, as well as special tips on how to fly smaller aircraft. The portable package and its planes are perfect for small spaces: the office, the den, the back of the minivan, drinking establishments. I bought this book for my younger brother who has always loved making paper airplanes. This book not only teaches you how to make them but also has a small part about the history of some planes (such as the Concorde 500). The book is small so it is great for travel. It also comes with great airplane making paper. The pocket flyers airplane book tells you tricks and tips for great flying. There are many airplanes to make and you can create each one seven times. The paper either has a cool mummy on it, awesome bugs, or other interesting disigns. My brother started making and flying these the minute he opened the present. Great for ages six to ten!

Excellant book for middle school students to learn how to make paper airplane designs.

The description of this book was not clear to me when I bought it. (I am an origami person, not really an airplane person.) There are directions for 12 airplanes and (about) 6 pages of paper for each plane. The pages are marked with fold lines and numbers. They are printed with bright, vivid, interesting designs on both sides of the paper. With multiple pages for each plane, this would be a great book for sharing with several kids (or adults) all making planes together. The only reason I subtracted one star is that after all the preprinted paper is used up, the instructions are mostly useless. The instructions are like "fold on line 4" which is only useful if you have the preprinted paper.

I gave this book to both my father and brother and they loved it. We have contest to see who can throw the planes the furthest. It was a good book to bring the family together.
