Editorial Review
Put a nickel in the jukebox, assuming you can locate a jukebox, and that you remember what a nickel is. Here's legendary Beach Boy Brian Wilson singing lead and 10-part harmonies on "Speed Turtle." The incomparable Neil Sedaka crooning "Your Nose." B. B. King brings you a wistful "One Shoe Blues," Gerry and the Pacemakers offer "Mersey Lullaby," and relative newcomer (in this seasoned company) Patti LuPone of "Evita" fame sings—what else—the "Rabbit Tango." And then there's the hit single from Boynton's Your Personal Penguin sung by the impossibly cute Davy Jones of The Monkees. I mean jeepers, even Sha Na Na is here.

So roll over, Beethoven—and Lieber and Stoller. Boynton & Ford once again bring great words, great music, great performers to children and vintage children alike. And OH! The book! Boynton has filled it with all things 50s and 60s. And, well, golly, it’s so happy and colorful and just terrific, Mister! Grab your saddle shoes, plunk two straws into that swell chocolate malt, and let's twist again like we did last century.

My kids had a cow for Blue Moo 2008-04-28
My kids, 12 & 9, absolutely love Blue Moo. It is quirky and funny and very singable. We also love DogTrain, Philadelphia Chickens and Rhinosauras Tap by Sandra Boynton. Makes car trips a hoot!

Kids love it! 2008-04-22
My son is always singing these songs and truthfully so am I. We have listened to all the Sandra Boynton musical CDs and this is by far the best.

Sandra Boynton and Friends rock!! 2008-04-06
This book, along with Dog Train, Rhinoceros Tap, and Philadelphia Chicken are favorites of everyone in our family!! The kids love the catchy tunes and being able to read along and I love hearing some of my favorite actors, singers, and bands singing to my kids!

We love it 2008-04-05
We have become fans of Sandra Boynton. We have "Dog Train" and "Philadelphia Chickens". The kids like almost all the songs.

Makes a wonderful gift 2008-03-29
We enjoy this cd and have given it as a gift to friends and family in the US and Germany.

The only negative feedback we got was from a family whose three young kids wanted to hear the cd over and over and over again, until the parents finally had to say no. So yes, the cd is not good on endless repeat, but definitely worth it in more reasonable doses.

Twin girls LOVE this one! 2008-03-15
So I am an admitted Sandra Boynton junkie. Fortunately, my 1 month old twin girls are too. We have Rhinocerouse Tap, Dog Train, Philidelphia Chickens and now Blue Moo. Each one is so different that it is hard to compare them. What they do share are Boynton's incredibly witty (for the adult ear) and dare I say cute words (for the little ear). Blue Moo starts off much like something from a 50's diner and even though those sounds aren't my generation, they are still fun to dance to while we three make dinner! If you don't love it, try listening again- it truly is hilarious.

Another FANTASTIC Boynton/Ford offering! 2008-03-03
I was so excited to read that Sandra Boynton and Michael Ford were collaborating on another book/cd! We have the other 3 sets (Philadelphia Chickens, Rhinoceros Tap and Dog Train), and have generally been awfully happy with them. I have 2 children, ages 9 and 10, who just seem to enjoy these songs more as they get older. We ordered and received Blue Moo, and are thrilled with this new offering. The songs sound like 50's or 60's jukebox-type tunes, but it is all Boynton in the clever and often SO-funny lyrics. Our favorite tunes have to be "Your Personal Penguin" and "Rabbit Tango", but "The Uninvited Parade" entries and "Speed Turtle" are wonderful, too. Actually the whole cd is terrific and quite catchy, and we've been walking around singing these tunes for a month now. Thank You Sandra!!

A great CD for kids & parents! 2008-02-22
We & our 5 y/o daughter love this album! The music is great & the lyrics creative & fun. My daughter has listened to it over & over & I enjoy hearing it. I even find myself humming or singing the tunes.

greeeaaat! 2008-02-08
The songs on this are excellent. I got one for all my friends with young children, they all love it (parents & kids).
