My child is too young to understand the words, but she is very entertained by the illustrations. They are wonderful. I recommend all of Leslie Patricelli's books.
One in a great series of books 2007-07-26
I love this book and others by the same author such as "BIG little" and " Yummy, Yucky". The drawings are cute, bright, and funny. The words are very simple, but they totally make me laugh. I think the baby really enjoys them too.

I bought 3 of these books (quiet loud, big little, yummy yucky) because my friend recommended them and my 5 month old daughter loves them. She gets very quiet and still, stares at the pictures of the little baby on each page and likes to touch the page and try to help us turn the page.

My 14-month old loves for me to read this book to her. I make the quiet and loud noises, and she really enjoys the loud ones. She doesn't seem to get tired of it.

Leslie Patricelli is our very favorite toddler book author. Quiet Loud is our second favorite book of hers behind Blankie, but they are all well-loved in our house. The baby featured in the illustrations is just the cutest thing.

I bought this book for my niece who is 16 months. She too can be a quiet and a loud baby at times. This is a great book for toddlers because of the bright colors and length of story.

My daughter loved the Yummy/Yucky book, and now enjoys the Quiet/Loud book as well (of course she likes the Loud better than the Quiet). Fun illustrations and simple concepts would be appreciated by almost any child.

A friend just bought this book for my son. It is the first book he has ever brought over to me to read. I read the quiet parts in a whisper and then read the loud parts...well, loud. He loves it. He also wants to go get my shoes when I read "Mommy's shoes are LOUD." It is pretty funny. Great book! Also would recommend Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.

My 16 month old daughter absolutely loves this book. She will bring the book to me at least twice a day to read to her. The toddler in the book series is just so cute and adorable that I even enjoy turning every page. This book will also be a great for younger babies since there is a lot of color contrast in the pictures.
