Editorial Review
Every little girl's graduation from diapers to the potty is always a very important moment—and one to make both parents and toddlers proud! In The Potty Book, Hannah needs to have her diapers changed so she can go out and play. Then mom and dad bring home a big box, and Hannah is anxious to open it up and see what's inside. Is it a rocking chair? A bed for Teddy? No, it's a potty—which means that it's time for Hannah to graduate from her diapers. This gentle and humorous little story is charmingly illustrated and told in verse. Little girls will enjoy looking at the pictures and having the story read to them. Meanwhile, they'll start getting the idea that it's time for them to grow up, exactly like Hannah. So that at last, they'll be able to say—"I'm off the potty!"

our daughter loves to read this over and over 2008-03-06
our 21 month old daughter loves this book and has us read it over and over to her. She is starting to understand the potty and this has definetly made her more interested and understanding.

Daughter loves it! 2008-03-02
not sure if it's working on the how potty training issue, but this is definitely her favorite book now!

Potty Time 2008-01-21
Toddler daughter loved this book. Still wants me to read it to her long after she has been potty trained. I think it helped her feel more secure in training, as she wanted to be like the little girl in the story.

Buy a different book! 2007-11-27
This book sucks. The picture does not look like a toilet or a potty chair. It did not hold the attention of either of my children. The lift a flap book by Katz was much better at getting them interested because the pictures actually look like a toilet and the kids get to turn the flap. Don't waste your money on this one.

Great potty book!! 2007-10-18
My kids loved this book when they were potty training. I just bought it for my best friends daughter.

Great Book 2008-06-17
My daughter loves to hear Hannah's story over and over. I think hearing about another little one her age learning to use the potty has really helped her move along in potty training. I would definitely recommend this cute story.

great book- cheap binding 2008-05-23
the book is great! a good representation of the potty-training journey- very cute how the teddy bear does everything little hannah does, too (reading on the potty, singing on the potty). this book is a great size for my little one to hold on her lap, but the binding is a bit cheap. some pages are hard to turn even after i creased each one down/open.

Favorite potty training book! 2008-05-15
I recently ordered several potty training books for my 22-month old daughter. This is by far her favorite! The rhyming quality of the book and the pictures are great. She loves the story so much she can almost recite it herself as we read!

Great 1st Potty Book 2008-04-27
This is a great first potty book. Both my girls have been into the pictures and explanations. I would recommend it.

Entertaining but not much of a teaching 2008-03-29
I bought this book when my daughter was 21 m.o. and it's been her favorite book. We read it all over again and it's bright with fun pictures. But it doesn't really get the message to her. Perhaps because she is too young. Basically a story about a girl who can already brush her own teeth and get dressed, getting a potty as a gift. How she sits and reads and waits and then one morning she decides to use the potty. And it's so great to stay dry. Fun pictures and story, but that's all.
