This interactive guide takes up where Dateable left off and walks teens through the Bible's insights about men and women. Guys will learn that God loves adventure and that there's a difference between a spiritual and a physical adventure. If your into a lot of Bible Studies...

...and your friends all want to jump on, then this is the book for you. If your just reading it by yourself, I don't recommend it.

I read the part of this book for girls, not guys, so my review only reviews half of this book, as it is divided into two sections, one for each gender. This book is a companion to the book Dateable in that it reinforces ideas introduced in that book. For girls, it talks about inner beauty, letting guys ask you out, how gossip is a problem for women (DiMarco compares it to chocolate cake) learning how to treat other girls nicely and learning to like yourself. It does touch on some topics that have been hit on before, but DiMarco is better at explaining all this in a manner that makes sense. This book came out before the Mean Girls book did, and I read this one first (hence why I was not so impressed with Mean Girls) Instead of talking about the behavior of other girls and how you should deal with it, DiMarco has YOU asess YOURSELF--if you gossip too much, if you hurt others, if your self-esteem is too low, etc. She reinfroces everything she talks bout in this book with Scripture (something she doesn't do as much in Mean Girls) and she often makes you write those scriptures out and encourages you to memorize them. This book is set up so that it is read over the course of three weeks, as a group Bible Study or as an individual devotional. It is a very good book, and backs up the principles taught int he book Dateable. This book shows how you can start to apply them to your daily life. And I've already begun to see a change in my own life from this book--so read it.
