Great Gift for Girls! Guys take notes!
2008-10-02
This book is hilarious because unfortunatley real guys just don't do this stuff or say these things (that I've met). One of my fav pics is of the guy scrubbing the toilet saying "I'd never DREAM of letting you do this job." This is an innocent book full of what my counselor calls "non-physical foreplay". Seriously guys, helping out around the house, or telling us "I love what you did with your hair today" earns you a lotta points! I suggest this book to anyone! Get it for you, for a friend, for your family, who-ever. I don't see how anyone could be offended by such a gift.
One of the funniest and best boooks I've seen for a long time

I bought a copy of this book for all of my girlfriends. My cool male friends were also able to enjoy it and get a laugh from it. I'm hoping my son will incorporate some of the messages about how women want to be treated.
Cute, funny and inoffensive book

Is it cerebral humor? No, it's just a cute book, nothing more - it's NOT pornography and it's NOT insulting to women (or men), despite the few bad reviews here on Amazon. Most of the captions are so dumb, poking fun at stereotypes, but it's really funny - my husband even got a few chuckles. Share this book with your friends and have a laugh together.
Best book Ever!

This book is incredibly dead-on! It really sums up the things that make women happy! I took this book around the office and every person thought this was hilarious, even the men! It is a must own!
Yes, I am a woman and this is a real review.

How is this book offensive to women and why are most of the people claiming it is guys? I'm a woman and I'm not offended in the least. My best friend showed me this book (and yes, she's a woman, too... we're both in our 30s) and we both find it hysterical and yes, true. While guys out there enjoy watching videos of other guys having sex with 2 18 year old girls at once, women want a man who isn't afraid of doing the dirty work of the day - i.e. cleaning the house, doing the laundry, taking care of us for a change. To say otherwise is an outright lie. This book doesn't insinuate that women don't like sex, it merely reveals that we aren't obsessed with it like men are, especially not to the point of "needing" to watch porn. One reviewer claims this is outright pornography. How? Because some guys without shirts are doing the laundry or cleaning the house? How is that pornography? I've noticed that most of the negative comments come from men - what does that tell you? That men are the ones who are offended by this, not women. I guess men are offended by the idea of *gasp* having to do the same menial chores that women have been expected to do for centuries, nay, millennia.
Bought it for my husband

Prepare to enter a fantasy world. A world where clothes get folded just so, delicious dinners await, and flatulence is just not that funny. Give the fairer sex what they really want beautiful PG photos of hunky men cooking, listening, asking for directions, accompanied by steamy captions: "I love a clean house!" or "As long as I have two legs to walk on, you'll never take out the trash." Now this is porn that will leave women begging for more!
So good!

This is an awesome book for all women who need a pick-me up and want to be reminded how men can be (but most likely are not!). This is NOT an xxx rated type porn book but more like a humor / romantic idea of what women would like. No nudity, just humor... will put a smile on any woman's face.
Nothing Gets Me Hot Like Laundry

Well, based on what this book and its publishers would have you believe, that's the inarguable truth.
This reeks strongly of an incredibly weak attempt to subvert the 50's books on how to be a "good wife" by intimating that all women TRULY want in our lives is a fella that will pull his own weight, gosh darn it!
... Which: no. Not only is it insulting to the entirety of the female population by its unfaltering insistence that we have more interest in a clean house than getting laid (no, dear man, that's your fantasy, not mine), but it's equally insulting in its insinuation that men have not moved into a societal place where these tasks are commonplace.
I have a sneaking suspicion these "women" should get out more into the world, and stop messing up my search terms. If I wanted garbage, I wouldn't have keyed in "porn."
Hits a nerve or the funny bone!

What a great idea! You bet watching men being attentive, caring and focused on ME is sexy. And you know what? Why shouldn't men be doing that stuff for us? This isn't a about women's equality (as some reviewers have complained), but instead it's about women being treated as if we are important in a relationship! Women don't always have to be the "nurturers!" If only all men could see this book before they start dating. I'll be buying it for my sisters and friends! Too bad it is a fantasy! :)
The funniest humor has a kernel of truth

Freud wanted to know what women really want and this book plays up on what us women know is true--that an attractive, attentive man is sexy. And like true pornography, this is an idealized version of men. We don't expect them to be just like this, but if they got close, we'd be ecstatic. The situations and captions are funny. An amusing, harmless gift that will have your girlfriends chuckling. You can send a friend a postcard by going to wannasnuggle.com
