Ivy and Bean are on an adventure to break a world record. One day Ivy and Bean were digging in Beans yard and they find fossils. Bean says,' hey maybe we can break a record by being the youngest paleontologists. Ivy says,'yes,' they didn't try that record first they did a different record. They did a straw record first.
I relate to Ivy and Bean because I like to explore. When had genius ideas. I think the straws in their mouths. I liked the book because Ivy and bean break a record. They broke was they were the youngest paleontologists to find fossils. I recommend this book because if somebody likes world records it would be a good book.
Love this one too!

This is a great story along with the other two in the series. It is so fun to read and my students especially the girls have really enjoyed a new series in my classroom. I know it is a huge hit!

I have been reading the IVY & BEAN series aloud to my 6.5-year-old twins (and their 3-year-old baby sister) and they love it. We are on book 2 and both the text and illustrations are so well done. Bravo to the publisher, the writer, and the illustrators for so elegantly interweaving text and art and dialogue and getting the target audience with no talking down, no bad grammar, no brattiness. . . . Fabulous series. Can't wait for book 4! BRAVO!
