Overall the book is a good book for young readers. It describes, at a basic level, what it takes to build an asphalt road.
Descriptions are brief yet clear and the photos are accurate depictions of activity described except one, the rocks for the type of roadway construction shown would not have come from the kind of quarry pictured.
It is a good value for the price and the vocabulary is a definate plus.
