GREAT PARENTING MANUAL FOR ODD CHILDREN 2007-03-31
This is a fantastic book to help parents parent ODD kids. It is easy to use and the techniques work very quickly. If your house is in chaos because your kiddo has taken over and ruling the roost, this book will help you gain control again and YOUR SANITY.

Dealing with Defiant Teen. 2007-03-31
I sent this book to my sister, and she found some of it helpful, but not all because of the unique situation she has with her teen. She has gotten a bit saturated with advice, which is not always so helpful.

Tough but informative 2007-02-15
This writer has dealt with ODD. His ways are tough but consistant. If you have a teenager with ODD I suggest this book and really read it you will find that you have a tough road ahead of you but there is light at the end of the tunnel. With Dr Rileys suggestions you will probably (if you are consistant) keep your child not only alive but out of jail and in school. Thank you Dr Riley.

Excellent Book 2007-02-11
This book provides a great deal of information about O.D.D. children and their actions.
The information I have been able to use the most are the techniques for surviving the tantrums and ways to change the home environment to help our little one, she's five, learn to deal with life on a daily basis.
This book has been an asset that we can use in addition to the play therapy sessions that we are doing every week with her.
I would recommend this book to anyone with a child who has behavior issues. If you are open to change, it can be a big help.

Brandon's eyes 2007-01-15
This book described my grandson perfectly. It has been a great help to me in dealing with him. I highly recommend this book to you if your child has a temper.

parent of a add and odd teenager 2008-07-10
This book was recommended by a counselor we bought two copies it pretty much described our child. The book is no magic cure but it gives you a lot of ideas that sure help and you'll see a lot of kids are like yours. I recommend it its not much money and it does help. Good Luck

AMAZING 2007-10-30
This book is a very easy read. I was amazed while reading this book at how well this author seemed to know my son (maybe I should be receiving royalties) :). I have changed my views on my son and my own behaviors that increase his disruptive behaviors. I have already started implementing many of the strategies with my son and have seen a complete turn around with him and my entire household. Anyone who is exposed to a disruptive child should read this book. I have always loved my child but now I actually like him and don't have to dread coming home to whatever he may have in store for me.

Great Doable Parenting Skills 2007-05-13
This book was a very easy read. It was very insightful and had a lot of useful information when dealing with a defiant child. All of the parenting advise was doable and very adaptive.

Informative Read 2007-05-07
The descriptions of the ODD child's view of the world were quite insightful. I also liked the idea of holding children accountable for their actions, something that doesn't seem to happen enough. However, I have a feeling that most parents will balk at the extremes they will have to go to in order to get their child to change. They may intellectually understand what needs to be done, but if people had the stamina to enforce such consequences in the first place, there wouldn't be so many ODD children needing help. Still, a very informative book that I will recommend to others.

A must for raising teenagers 2007-04-04
This book became my "bible" for raising my teenage daughter. All parents of teenagers should read this book!
