great infant book

This hardboard book has large, full page black and white drawings. Each page features a different animal-bunny, cat, etc. This is a great infant and toddler book to practice naming and labeling animals.

Really catpures babies attention

Bought a few black and white books and have been showing them periodically since our baby has been only a few days old. He will stare at the book and study things. I've only gotten through the cover and one page but I can see the images really capture the babies attention. Will be using it for months to come. Very nice illustrations. Highly recommended.

My daughter loves this book

My mother-in-law will make up stories for my 4 month old daughter while she smiles at the pictures. Even without the stories, she'll still smile at the pictures.

3-Week Old Already Loves It!

I ordered this book after reading that newborns are most stimulated by black and white images. I was amazed when I held the book up for my 3-week old to look and he actually looked at it and focused on each of the pages, scanning back and forth. It was really neat to see him paying such close attention to something at such an early age.

Baby's Favorite

My 7 month old daughter loves books -- loves to eat them, that is. Knowing that this is common in infants, I don't stress over that though.) However, there are a couple of her books that she actually likes to "read." Baby Animals: Black and White is one of them. She just stares at the pictures and doesn't seem to tire of it easily. She is so into this book that it is the first one she learned to turn the pages of herself. Babies love black and white images, and these are bold enough to really capture their attention. Highly recommended.

I think the animals in this book are adorable, however my baby was not very interested in the book for very long. I ordered another book that had some red in with the black and white and he loved that one, would look at it for 20 minutes or so.

Great book for newborns

I bought this book for my newborn baby. He loves to look at the pictures. Usually once a day he has crib time where he lays and looks at this book intently. He's ten weeks now and still enjoys it.

excellent for young babies

We bought this book for our 1 wk old son and he loves looking at the pictures. We set it up in front of him during tummy time and he will be entertained for many minutes. He is now six weeks old and is really enjoying the pictures. Great books to introduce your children to.

Great Book

For our 3 mon. old daughters first book, Baby Animals was a hit! It was the first time she became really excited over something. She is now 8 months old and can recognize real black and white animals like the dalmation and zebra.
