This is a great start for your little one. Helps with eye hand coordination and is easy to use. Your Pre-Ker practices sound recoginition, letter recognition and pre-writing skills. Instructions for the activities and answer key is convenient in the back of the book.

We haven't worked to much on the book, but from what I see, it looks good. It will be nice supplement to working on prewriting skills and following directions.
Well Done for Preschool
2008-04-12
My 3 1/2 year old girl enjoys doing 1-2 pages of this book 2 or 3 days a week as part of our at home preschool. They help her work on motor skills, which is the area she needs the most practice in out of the four emphases of the book. She likes this workbook, finds it fun and likes the illustrations. I feel she is learning something. We are happy with this purchase.
Developing the Early Learner Bk. 1
2008-02-26
This is a great four book series for three to four year olds. It develops
motor, visual, auditory, and comprehension skills through fun worksheet pages that gradually increase in difficulty. Following a wavy line with a pencil, listening to instructions on how to color, remembering a short list of instructions and following them, learning opposites, learning sequencing, mazes, puzzles, etc. It's lots of fun and will have your child begging to do more even while they're learning!
Great Learning Tool for Pre K - Grade 1
2005-06-22
We received the "Developing the Early Learner" series workbooks, 1-4 as part of our literature based Pre K program. DEL is divided into 4 areas: motor skills, visual skills, auditory skills and comprehension skills. Motor skills include L-R tracking, hand eye, and mazes. Visual skills include similarities, memory, figure ground. Auditory skills include similarities, memory and rhyming. Comprehension skills include associations, sequence and language. The format of the worktext is black/white illustrations, which are perfect for practicing those coloring skills.
These worktexts are great for utilizing with your child to see what their strengths and weaknesses are. You can then work on those areas which need improvement, returning to the DEL as needed to check your childs progress.
We utilize this series along with the "Everything For Early Learning Preschool".
I gave this product 4 stars as our child preferred the "Everything for Early Learning Preschool" over this product.
