Sparce in Information

This was not at all what I expected. There were very few questions about grandmother's life, but several pages on the family tree, and her child's (the grandchild's parent) life. I expected more on what grandmother remembered about her own life.
Nice memento

I bought this to get ideas of what to ask my grandmother since I'm putting together my own family story. I got some ideas but it didn't really work for what I was trying to do. It is a neat gift if you are a grandmother or to give someone who is going to be a grandmother and then you fill out all the info and give it to your grandchild.
Grandmother's heirloom

My husband and I gave this to his co-worker. She is going to be a grandmother for the first time- and she is absolutely thrilled with it! I am a grandmother for the first time also- my grandson is now 9 months old, and I got the idea when my son gave me a similar book- and I thought it was such a great idea to pass on your feelings and memories about your children to their children. I think every grandparent should have one!
Wonder purchase! Brand New Book!

I was very well pleased with this book. It was brand new and in mint condition when it arrived. I would order more products from this seller, they can be trusted and really care about the way their products arrive at your house. Thanks!
A Real Treasure For Grandchildren

This book allows you to easily leave a legacy for grandchildren. Can include generic info such as geneology, as well as very personal memories/reflections and lots of space for those special pictures you hope would never be lost. It is truly a way to give a gift of love.
Great buy!

I love this book. I've filled out four for my grandchildren and intend to buy more for the other grandchildren.
Grandmother Remembers

When our children were babies they were given the 'finished product' "Grandmother Remembers" by their grandmothers and great-grandmothers. The children (now 29 and 30) love to look through them whenever they're home. I guess since they share 'ownership' they have left them with us for safekeeping.
This past year, I have begun giving the book at showers to the grandmothers in addition to the gift for the new mom and baby. In each case there has been immediate discussion and appreciation. Once the project has been completed however, we have heard from ALL of the moms- and grandmas-to-be saying the process engendered many tears and chuckles.
We have purchased the grandma AND the grandpa versions so that we may present them to our new granddaughter this summer.
Excellent product. Sturdy even after nearly 30 years!
Take the Time to Write it Down

An organized way to pass on information with a personal touch. It will make you relive some instances and savor memories that should be shared. Definitely a benefit perhaps for generations to come.
Beautiful but a bit "old fashioned"

I bought this for my Mother when my son was born in 1983. I then bought copies of it recently now that I'm a grandmother. There are parts of it that I can't relate to at all. My daughter in law comes from a different kind of family tree and theres no way to explain it at all. My daughter had a child while in college and they didn't marry, So the engagement/married part of my own daughter is a bit shadowed here. I think it needs updating for those of us that have children that live a bit more modern than the book allows.
I will be searching for something else soon.
