Delightful!

I received this book as a gift and love it. There are activities for babies, nursery rhymes, short stories, songs, recipes, poetry and wonderful art work. Not only do I use it with my grandsons but I visit a woman with special needs every week and we sing songs, read stories and poetry from the book and we love to look at the pictures.

There is a lot of love in this book and am now giving it to other grandmothers so they can share it with their new ones. It is delightful!

wonder book for mom, dads ,grandmothers & grandfathers

This is a great book - for grandparents it is somewhat nostalgic.
The artwork is great and it is helpful if you want to remember those old songs you used to sing to your kids. It even has recipes for the little ones. I'm sold on it.

"little" it isn't!

I got this book for a new grandmother and she **loved** it. It was the hit of the party. It's full of wonderful illustrations, stories, poems, recipes, and songs.

This is one of those books that is a classic great gift. This book is just crammed with great stuff, and would take weeks for a grandma to go through and pick out her favorites. I can't believe the amount of care and love that they editors put in gathering the contents and putting them together. I wish they would put out a "Little Big Book for Young Women Finding Their Way" so I could have one, too!

I've given "The Little Big Book" as gifts before, and everyone raves about them. If you are looking for a really special gift, or want to treat yourself to something that you will pass on to your children, this little book is the way to go.

A must for every grandmother 2008-04-28
This is a book I will take with me whenever I visit our grandson. It has everything! I can read to him, do activities with him, cook with him, and as a result of this book, I'm sure he will look forward to our visits. Thanks you, Lena Tabori and Alice Wong, for putting this book together.

Great Grandmothers Go-to Book 2006-11-28
After buying the Little Big Book for Moms for my daughter in law, I discovered the Grandmothers version. I treated myself and I just love it. I've tried several of the recipes- home made bread and honey glazed chicken wings to name two. They were delicious! There are also bunches of crafts, nursery stories, some with Grandmother theme, songs and games. I have a seven month old as well as 18 year old granddaughters. There are good things to share with both.
