I found this book very confusing at first. The compiler writes the first piece and he should not be writing reviews of any kind! After getting through the first essay, the others were better. And while I have read all the Harry Potter books, after reading this I had to go back and reread Half Blood Prince, and parts of the other books, because obviously I had missed quite a few precedents from all the other books. I was reading Harry Potter for the fun and mystery of it, not looking for clues and omens and analyzing each incident. I did not realize there were folks out there that did! I am glad there are because I did learn a lot. Each essay is different and after I got past the first one they became more "readable".

Not worth the title...

Interesting, but very little of the text addresses the titular question. Mostly comprised of reprinted what's-next blog posts that may be read online for no charge. A few theories hit their marks, but again, already published. And the title just stinks of the worst possible hook-and-line marketing; check it out from the library instead.

As others have noted this book's title is ridiculous and spoiled arguably the most shocking event in the harry potter series for me. At the very least stop grouping this in with the actual novels in search results.

An interesting look at the phenomenal Potter series

I admit that I rushed through Book 6 of the Harry Potter series, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," basically taking in the plot as it was presented on the surface and without considering much of what I already knew about the way J.K.Rowling has worked in creating the series. "Who Killed Albus Dumbledore" was a real awakening for me to the clever, layered and nuanced ways in which this series has unfolded, and to the deceptive techniques of mis-direction Rowling uses to create suspense and to focus the ideas beneath the surface of what appear to be simple fantasy narratives. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to prime themselves for a rewarding reading of Book 7, "...and the Deathly Hallows" (which I'll be reading soon after a careful RE-reading of HBP...).

I found the theories fun to read about before reading book seven. Being a light reader, I often missed subtle hints that Rowling dropped n her earlier books. Quite interesting.

Worst book ever...

Seriously who puts such a huge spoiler in the title! I can't believe Amazon is connecting this book to the harry potter series... i can't believe it is suggesting it to readers when IT HAS A SPOILER IN THE TITLE!! This book really ruins it for new fans just getting into the seriers. I would have never the 6th book if I had saw something like this. It would have totally ruined it for me.... there is a certain magic to reading books and getting invested in the characters... to show something that doesn't even happen until the end of a loved character is cruel.

I came here to purchase books 6 + 7. Sure enough I caught a glimpse of this title while looking at potter books. Right off the bat of book 6 I already knew what it was leading to :(

Thanks jerk, I am halfway through Book 6 and havent gotten to that part yet, thanks for ruining it for me. Is your next book going to spoil book 7 for everybody?
