Its worth the money

I read the mix reviews on this book, so I bought a used version for about $3.00, its worth $10.00 especially to learn more about having a dry night.
The book has some very useful information, like cutting out fruit and milk at night. (go figure) It is a guide for the Malem alarm so don't be surprised, but the alarm is well worth the $120.00. Also buy sheet protectors, they are much easier to wash than sheets($13 at babysrus) Although I would spend more to get them to tuck into the bed. Buy the book and pass it on
Excellent Bedwetting Book!

This wonderful book should be required reading for any parent with a child who wets the bed. It explains to parents what bedwetting is all about and how to get your child dry. As parents, we all wish there was some wonder drug or magic treatment to help our child get dry. This book explains that medical research continues to show that a bedwetting alarm is the only way to "speed up the clock" and help your child get dry.
Yes, I like most parents, have tried restricting fluids, waking my child to go to the bathroom, setting an alarm clock and DDAVP (a synthetic hormone/drug that reduces urine output for one night). These things were not effective at getting my child permanently dry. A bedwetting alarm is significantly better than any of these approaches and around 80% of children can get permanently dry with an alarm.
This book talks about how to effectively use an alarm - which is very important if you are serious about getting your child dry.
A waste of money if you are not using an alarm!!!

Unless you are working with an alarm right now, or planning to in the very near future, don't bother with this book. It has nothing else to offer. It's title should be "How to use a Bedwetting Alarm."
We are not ready for an alarm yet and I did not get ANY other useful information from this book. Try Waking Up Dry instead.
don't waste your time

This book should be a pamphlet. Step 1, buy a pee alarm. Step 2. use it
Hardly any other useful advice, just reasons why anything other than a pee alarm is a bad idea.

If your child has a problem with wetting the bed, BUY THIS BOOK. After speaking with my child's pediatrician and urologist and getting little information from them, I bought this wonderful book. I was so happy to finally read a well written, easy to understand resource from an expert. The information is easy to understand and really helps parents with what to do about their child's wetting. I was happy to finally get the facts about bedwetting - instead of the shady web sites that keep popping up that try and get you to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars for their magic "correction".
I was tired of hearing "don't worry, he will grown out of it". I bought an alarm that was recommended for less than $100, followed the advice in the book, and my son now sleeps dry after only 10 weeks. He is such a different child. Thank you so much.

Wow! I didn't think a book on bedwetting would be so helpful until I read this. It's great for parents who have children who are wetting. Not only did it give thorough information on the different methods employed to stop wetting, it also goes into detail about bedwetting alarms and how they work as well as some advice on beverages that may increase wetting. Great book!

This book only seems to be helpful if you decide to use a bed alarm. I was trying to find a book that I could use to help my daughter stop wetting the bed naturally. I would not recommend this book unless you were going to use a bed alarm.
You wont wast your money with this one...........

My 12 year old was wetting the bed when we bought this book. It explains so much! I made my son read it, and it made him feel better about his problem. He stoped feeling like he was a bad person for wetting the bed. We got an alarm and he no longer is a bed wetter! This book was a big help during that time. It was like having a bed wetting expert living with us while we worked though the problem.
An excellent book!

This book is very informative. Every question I had about bedwetting was answered in this book. I would recommend this to anyone that has a child with a bedwetting problem. I had a company come to my house and tell me they could fix the bedwetting issue, if I gave them $2,000 dollars. This is a rip off, and this book tells you about that and any other misconceptions you may have about bedwetting. Once again an excellent book that will have your child dry in no time.
