Editorial Review
These puzzles offer more than just solving pleasure: they’re also works of art! That’s because every time you successfully complete a diagram, you also draw a picture. Along the top and left side of the grid are numbers that refer to the columns and rows: these are the keys to a code revealing which and how many squares to fill in. It just takes a little logic, concentration, and patience to figure it out—the process is a lot like sudoku, actually, where you work with numerical clues. But the result is something to show off, because out of the mix of black and white squares comes images of a bus, cat, pineapple, samurai, sphinx, and even James Dean!

Not a bad buy

So far this book is fun and impressive but has a few downsides. The tutorial at the beginning is helpful for those just starting out, and there is a lot of image variety. But I dislike the random order of the book. The puzzles get larger the further back you go, but are not arranged by difficulty and don't have any titles. I also thought the spiral bound feature would make it easier to work the puzzles without damaging the spine or cover, but the cover itself prevents the spiral from being useful. The pictures themselves are very detailed and working them is a great way to kill some time & work your brain.
Wonderful!!

These puzzles are fascinating and hard to put down. Let's have more of the same. I will be happy to buy anything more from Conceptis.

This book is great! I have been doing these puzzles for a few years, and I bought one of these for a friend for Christmas. I then bought this one for myself, because it flattens out on the table, unlike other paperbacks. My friend is now completely hooked on them, and her daughter, also. I think that this is the best of the six books that I have.
Loved so much, buying all over again

I love paint-by-number aka logic picture puzzles aka paint-doku puzzles. I enjoyed this book's puzzles & spiral-bound format so much that I am re-purchasing the same book to work again. I goofed up a lot of the puzzles & want to try again to get them right.
This book is fantastic for keeping mind & hands busy during lazy days. I draw a circle in each box instead of completely filling in the square. Same effect, much less ink.
MY FAVORITE SO FAR...

This is a great book! I just finished the last puzzle and am searching for my next book. It took me quite a while to solve all the puzzles. Some puzzles took several tries, but all were able to be solved with LOGIC! None needed any guessing. This book, by far, was well worth the money.

This is just an ok book in my mind. The spiral binding and the paper are good quality, but the puzzles are in random order with no identification as to the difficulty. Also, a majority of the puzzles are made up of 80% blank space, which is disappointing to me when most of the puzzles are just x's.
excellent!!

I love doing paint sudoku! This spiral bound book with nice thick pages is so nice to handle. If you like doing logic puzzles and have never tried this type of puzzle, GIVE IT A TRY!! It's challenging but yet fun to see what the picture ends up to be.
Best for experienced

Like most people, I am addicted to these pixel puzzles and this is by far the best book I have tried. Not very good for a beginner as there are not that many "easy" puzzles but if you are experienced then this book will really challenge you!

I rally like the "picture" puzzles but I am having a little trouble learning how to do them. They are a really neat idea and can keep me occupied for hours.
