A Definite Asset

As a parent, I found the book _The Turnabout Programme_ by Dr. Carol Goldfus and Enid Korn to be an invaluable asset. For any parent whose child suffers from dyslexia and/or ADHD, this book provides step by step exercises leading to a true "turnabout". The clearly written definitions and instructions made reading this book not only easy, but enjoyable. The exercises, which are non-threatening and easily accomplishable with a little perseverance, show progress after a very short time period. A main benefit of the programme is how it deals with the whole child-- including psychological concerns regarding self-esteem. This book allows the parent to advocate for his/her child in a manner that is not intimidating and extremely productive.
