This is a wonderful book. A most read for all moms who want to encourage their children to be positive and to live a Christan life. It is an easy read and very uplifting!

There were some good things in this one. I did keep it after I was done reading it but it wasn't as deep as I had hoped it would be.

Good book

This was our first book we read for our newly formed Bible Study/ Women's Book club at our church. It was a hit and everybody thoroughly enjoyed it. There was a chapter or two that was just "ok", but the rest of it made a lot of sense. Our book club is mostly new moms or moms with younger children.

Great Reminder

While nothing in the book was a huge revelation ("your kids model themselves after you," "take care of yourself," "take care of your marriage," etc.), it was all a good reminder -- and it was nice to have the Biblical citations to back up the principles. Ladd is a great writer, making the material very easy and entertaining to read.

I'm back for more of Karol Ladd. This book has made all the difference in the world. I have applied so much to my daily life that she writes about. she is such an uplifting and inspiring author. such a great Christian. I highly recommend this book to any mother who feels used and abused daily by her children. This book will put a different perspective on you life.

I just started reading this book several weeks ago and find my self re-reading certain pages over and over again. What a wonderful piece of work for moms to have.
This book is a guide that inspires and directs you into a Godly path of being a positive mom. Aside from God our children have us as their guidance in life. The power we posses as mothers can be extremely damaging or extremely positive.
"The Power of a Positive Mom" encourages us to take the longer road of being that insight of positive radiance in the lives of our children

I really like how the author speaks realistically in this book to moms. I've read a lot of parenting books, and this is one of the best. Very inspirational.

Wonderful Collection to any Mother's Library! 2005-08-05
Reading a little bit from this book each day brought such peace and encouragment to me. My son is only 2, but I realize that parenting is not a "fly by the seat of your pants" type job. We need instruction and direction in order to raise Chirst-like children. This book is full of wonderful references to scripture, wonderful end of chapter activities, and wonderful real life advice. I urge any one interested to add it to their collection!

Must-Read for Busy Moms 2005-02-11
Karol Ladd, a popular speaker for women's groups, has written a series of "Power of a Positive" books for Howard. But this one is definitely a must-read for moms who want to leave a positive legacy. I especially liked her suggestions on creating a personal mission statement. She also gives great advice on finding purpose and ordering priorities.
