Editorial Review
Hailed as "the meanest queens in the cafeteria" by the Village Voice and "viciously funny" by The Hollywood Reporter, Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan entertain 3.5 million unique visitors every month via GoFugYourself.com. Their smart, scathing dressing-down of fashion disasters has become a media sensation, with Time dubbing their website one of the fifty coolest blogs and Entertainment Weekly tagging it as one of the staff's twenty-five favorite sites on the Internet.

Now, with The Fug Awards, Heather and Jessica hand out honors such as the Sag Award for most egregious misuse of breasts and the Tanorexia Award for the person most addicted to bronzer. They prove that having an unlimited budget and a coterie of hangers-on is no barrier against committing glaring, eye-stinging sartorial missteps.

No celebrity, no matter how respected or revered, is beyond their reach. Not merely cutting, but also genuinely witty and slyly perceptive, The Fug Awards is celebrity schadenfreude at its hilarious best.

Celebrity Dish Flavored With Spicy Wit. 2008-06-20
Unlike most celebrity bloggers who mistake cruel and nasty digs for genuine humor, the Go Fug Yourself girls have in abundance what other bloggers so woefully lack: genuine talent and wit. The girls are wickedly talented writers, keen observationalists and are, at times, truly laugh-out-loud funny.

Although it is a celebrity based book, it's not just another tabloidy excuse to nastily kick the stars while they're down. The real draw here is the girls and their opinions themselves. Rather than the little snack-sized tidbits readers get each day from their blog at www.gofugyourself.com the book is a veritable smorgasbord of their one-liners, funny comparisons and personal revelations arranged in an awards-show format.

I suggest doing what I did. First, turn to your favorite stars to see what they had to say. Then pick it up, start from the beginning and read it for a bit. Then later you can pick up where you left off whenever you need a good laugh.

Funny, Funny, Funny! 2008-04-07
Did I mention it was funny? Only I wish it had more pictures of Intern George.

mildly amusing 2008-03-29
Okay, the book is kinda fun to leaf through, but so are the celebrity mags, blogs and web sites that feature countless badly dressed "stars" every week. As a blog, this stuff is timely, as a book, it's dated the day of publication. But the girls got paid,so hooray for them.

Entertaining! 2008-03-26
I love Go fug yourself, it's a bit of a guilty pleasure, and this book was fabulous. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that parts were a little boring and drawn out. But it is definitely worth a few giggles:)

Fun, enjoyable and a tribute to their skill 2008-03-26
This book is about the Oscar of fugly dressed famous people and the writers Heather and Jessica we all know and love for their wit and acerbic criticism of unbelievable badly dressed speople who nevertheless bask in the spotlight and damage our days, do uphold their fame. However, I did somewhat miss their usual elaborate and literary prose and their utterly comic exasperation about these fashion mishaps. That said, if you are like me a daily visitor of their website, you'll like this book.

Fugging Awesome! 2008-03-25

Fugging hilarious 2008-03-14
If you are anything like me, you are probably reading the reviews on this Amazon page while wondering, "Sure, I love the GFY web site, but what does the book have to offer me that I can't get for free online?" Well, I am here to tell you that if you are a fan of the Fug Girls' blog, you MUST buy this book. This is not a slapdash product; the content is all new, and completely hilarious, definitely up to the high standards we have come to expect from Heather & Jessica over the years. I had hours of fun laughing over great photos & catty but so on-the-mark commentary about Fug faves like Bai Ling, Paris Hilton, Chloe Sevigny, Lindsay Lohan, Flavor Flav, and many more. The awards show format was a great choice; I wish I could hang out with the authors while watching the Oscars Red Carpet arrivals. Way to go, Fug Girls!

Laughing at celebrities has never been so funny 2008-02-15
Even though I read the website by the authors daily, the book covers new ground and tells a story by comparing various hideous examples of different categories of fashion offenders. Go Fug Yourself is a website that daily shows us the horrors that celebrities inflict on us from the red carpet.
I am a huge fan of the website, and the book is a well-constructed laugh riot based on the same snarky commentary Heather and Jessica are famous for.
Worth the penny, get the laughs, hate the outfits.

The Fug Girls are just brilliant in every way. 2008-02-15
I have been a reader of their blog for a very long time, and it just gets better and better. Now, a book, as well. An embarassment of riches, really. The Fug Girls have keen eyes and razor wits when it comes to fashion, and will make you laugh out loud again and again. How great is that?

FUGTASTIC 2008-02-14
I was temporarily distracted by the: What Do Customers Ultimately Buy After Viewing This Item? call-out on this page that indicated the next logical purchase for most Fug customers would be British SCI FI newcomer, Torchwood [Torchwood - The Complete First Season on DVD]. However, I snapped out of it and remembered how much I LOVE the FUG (!!).

Whether a painful day at work, messy break-up or ridiculous line to commune with your local barrista, these two inspired women have the wit and the words to turn it all around in a single post (or cool new book).

BUY THIS ASAP -- and thumb through it before you get dressed tomorrow...
