Payoffs and Possibilities in Book 7

I found What Will Harry Do? The Unofficial Guide to Payoffs and Possibilities in Book 7 to be excellent. It reminded me of things I had forgotten and some things I had not picked up on while reading. This book not only was a help while waiting for book 7 to be published, but is helpful to those who want to gain a deeper understanding of Harry Potter. I highly recommend reading this book.
QUICK & EASY READ

It was a fun book to read prior to the release of The Deadly Hollows.
Best of the Pre-Book 7 Harry Potter speculation books

This was the most interesting, readable and new ideas book on speculation of what will be in Harry Potter Book 7 and why.
Fun and Insightful

I really enjoyed this book. I think it can be read on many levels by all ages. It serves as a primer or review of unanswered questions in Harry Potter through book six. It offers an analysis of J. K. Rowling's "set ups" and "pay offs" i.e. Rowling's prior mention of important people, items and ideas that will matter later on in the series. For this reason I think this book will be useful even after publication of Book 7 for anyone interested in better understanding Rowling's methods. It does not really offer spoilers for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" but does offer well reasoned and well defended arguments supporting Batchler's speculations.
An awesome Harry Potter book for fans =-)

Will Harry return to Hogwarts? Is Draco a werewolf? What did happen at Godric's Hollow? What is the sixth Horcrux? Is Snape truly evil? Truly good? Or just out for himself? Who will live?... Who will die? You may think you have to wait for HP Book 7 to answer these questions. But the clues... the set-ups for them have already been cleverly established in Books 1 through 6, and are just waiting for you to put the pieces together. WHAT WILL HARRY DO? is the unofficial guide that will help you unlock the puzzles of the all-encompassing question: What Happens Next?
Buy my own

I origionaly bought three copies of this book. One for me and two to give as Christmas presents. I ended up giving my copy away also. This book is so good that I want to share it with as many as possible. So I am back now to get my own copy. I plan on reading it again for my run up to the release of deathly hollows. Maybe it will help me not to be duped by JKR yet again.
Something to tide you over

J.K. Rowling created the world, but J.S. Batchler has helped me see it at a new level. Much like Dumbledore in the last book, Batchler goes into the realm of speculation and leaves me wishing I had seen the various connections and pieces of the puzzle. I am sure there are some purists who don't want to have anything surprised spoiled but I felt more excited about HP & the Deathly Hallows coming out after reading this book. Thanks for the Harry Poter fix to last me till the next one.
Best Book ON Harry Potter that I've Read...
2007-01-06
I have to admit that I am not as much of a Harry Potter fan as some folks...I have "only" read the books twice and am not familiar with every single website or new Harry theory. Nevertheless, I got this book and another similar one ("Who Killed Dumbledore?") and I thought this one was far better. I finished it in two days and the author's theme of "set ups" and "pay offs" really help the reader to appreciate and revel even more in the genius of J.K. Rowling. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to get more into Harry Potter and better understand, from a literary angle, why the books are so good.
ALSO, I disagree with folks who say it is a waste of time to "read" HP theories or possible plot spoilers. The author is always respectful of Rowling and from the beginning to the end of the book, she is careful
not to speculate wildly but really helps the reader to pay attention to small details that may or may not have "pay offs" later. Her approach is much more logical and well thought out than the other theories I have read.
A fun read!

If you are looking for a fun way to speculate about what will happen in the next Harry Potter book, this is it. I, too, had never thought about a book (or movie) in terms of "set-ups and pay-offs", and it was an interesting perspective. The author did the leg work that most of us are too lazy to do to support her predictions. I am looking forward to see which ones are true! This book is definitely worth the time!
