Metallica - Legendary Licks 1983-1988 (Guitar Legendary Lick

If your a Metallica fan and you need to get better at playing , get this...It covers lots of material from Kill Em' All, Ride The Lightning, Master Of Puppets, and a couple songs from ...And Justice For All (The rest are in another book)...
The tab's are incomplete but for the most part they have the intro, bridge/interlude/or chorus, and the solo...which is alright, it would be perfect if they included the Master Of Puppets solo, but it's not a big deal. The tabs are accurate, and precise. Even cooler the book comes with a cd that has the real version being played so you can play along, and most have a slowed down version (this is very helpfulon the solo's) of the tune. I understand there is also a dvd for the book too, but i have yet to find it.
Well to finish it off the funnest songs to play would be "The Four Horsemen," "Seek N Destroy," "Whiplash," "Leper Messiah," "Damage Inc." and "Blackend."
Anywya buy this if you want good, accurate, fun music
excellent book, but...

I found this book to be an excellent purchase, worth the money. Having the CD with the tablature makes everything alot easier, and the tabs sound awesome. However, the reason i didnt give it 5 stars is that the full songs arent tabbed. There are usually tabs for the intro, bridge and solo, but not for the chorus and fills. This kinda gets annoying if you wanna learn a whole song. But they are excellent books for the learner/intermediat guitarist. Recommended.
Awesome Book

To sum it all up, great book. Picked it up just 3 hours ago and I've already learned Welcome Home up until half-way through the solo. The CD helps too since it slows down the solos so you get it just right. As you can see, it includes songs from Kill 'Em All up until ...And Justice For All. You could potentially spend [$$$] or so dollars on a tab book just for one album, but if you just wanna learn some fundamental Metallica riffs or are a beginner, pick up this book. You might also want to take a look at Metallica Riff by Riff since it includes songs up through Metallica (aka: The Black Album).
Great Book

This is a great Tab book. It is Easy to folow and the tabs are all correct. It comes with a CD that is helpful if you don't know what the songs sound like already. The tabs have times next to them too, so you can listen to the riffs with the words already over them if you have the real CD. Great book, definately worth the buy if you dont want to try to figure the tabs out on your own.
