Should it be a concern that a book on Language Arts contains grammatical errors?

Although the book addresses each competency and skill outlined in GACE's Test Design and Framework, it appears to have been published in haste and is in desperate need of editing and proofreading. Some areas were covered better than others; the right ones did not always receive the most attention (recognizing that tests and people vary). The included practice test suffices as a review; however, the phrasing of questions is dissimilar to those that appear on the actual exam. It would also be helpful if the book contained an index. Overall, I answered more questions correctly on the test with the book than I would have without it.

While the book was well written, it was not really set up as a study guide and contained alot of useless information. I will say that there were some sections with relevant, helpful information. And to be fair, since I pulled from several sources while studying,it is hard to gauge just how helpful the information in this book was; but I doubt it was helpful enough to justify the money I spent on it.
