Great help for Mommy of twins!
2008-09-15
My daughter has three year old identical twin boys, and what doesn't think of, the other does. I sent this to her and she can't stop raving about it. She also has a brand new baby boy, so her time is precious, and this is one book that she makes time for.
A Map Through the Maze
2008-08-03
This is the Toddler Bible in my eyes. Suddenly my little lump of a baby boy turned into a person whose eating, sleeping and pooping habits changed in the blink of an eye, leaving me flustered and searching for answers. This book gives you a map through the maze of toddlerhood; it consolidates all of the 3.4 million toddler "how-to" books into one easy- to-read format. The authors--one a Pediatrician Mom, the other the co-author of the definitive guide to baby purchasing ("Baby Bargains")--guide and recommend, but empower parents to think and decide for themselves. An essential addition to any parenting library.

With over 100,000 copies in print, Baby 411 is the country's fast-growing parenting series with legions of fans nationwide. Now, here comes the sequel: Toddler 411! From picky eaters to temper tantrums, Toddler 411 provides practical answers and advice from an award-winning pediatrician and mom who've been there, done that!
Fully Comprehensive Parenting Book
2008-04-11
Toddler 411 is a fully comprehensive parenting book! It is a great value for the cost and I would recommend it to any of my friends. There is so much information included here...from terrible two's, potty training, disciplin, picky eaters, vaccines, childhood illnesses....Some of this information is pertinent to every parent, and some won't be. However, you never know when your child will be diagnosed with either a physicial development problem, emotional or come down with an illness! For this I know I will be consulting this book through out the next couple of years.
I'd definitely recommend this book to any parent, it makes an excellent addition to your parenting book collection and I think far exceeds anything I've read so far on these subjects. There's just so much included that you can't go wrong!
Love this book!

I find myself turning to this book time after time, month after month! I'm definitely getting my money's worth from this book! The format is easy to read and easy to look up information in a hurry. It tends to be more factual with little or no personal opinions coloring the advice. It might be impossible to find a parenting book that a parent will agree with 100% of everything in it but this one comes close I think because it seems to try to stay objective.
Honestly, I would recommend this book for any parent of a toddler! I will be giving this to family members and friends as a gift when their babies turn one year old (giving it to the parents, they deserve a gift too!)in the future.
A real life manual for toddlers!

This is a fantastic follow-up to Baby 411. The first book was amazing and this one is too! Just as easy to read, realiable, realistic information and delivered with a great sense of humor that makes it all so relatable! I can't thank the authors enough for writing this book, it really does help you understand and deal with your child. Every parent of a young child should read this book!

I bought this book because of all the nice reviews about it.I have only read 20 pages so far and I am very disappointed. They advertise companies and other books they are affiliared with, in an indiret way. They do not say to go and buy it but they give you a hint.I am assuming they are not only making money with the book but also in this way.The shape of the book is also uncomfortable for reading. It is very long, thick and it makes it very dificult to open and read.I am buying "What to Expect: The Toddler Years". I have always been happy with this line of books.
