How to duplicate poke'mon for poke'mon Crystal/gold/silver

To duplicate poke'mon first you choose an empty box then you deposit the poke'mon you want to duplicate into the box let it save then you withdraw that same poke'mon and when it says "saving don't turn off the power" turn the gameboy off. after you have done that you should have 1 of that same poke'mon in your party and 1 in the same box you deposited it in.
