Not too bad, not very good either 2005-10-31
Yes, this guide is good and is absolutely necessary if you don't wanna have to use an Internet walkthrough. The reason i bought this is because the offical Pokemon Emerald Walkthrough didnt have coverage on the f/r and l/g pokemon and because I had recently bought Pokemon Fire Red. The cons of this book are:The pages started falling out after a few weeks of carefull and responsible use of it, spelling mistakes are present but not as common as in the Pokemon Emerald book plus the Emerald books smaller! It doesn't say how to get: Celebi, Lugia, Mew, or Deoxys, what a rip!

Zero stars, that does it! 2005-10-25
STUPID. This has so many mistakes. There is no such thing as Cinnabar. It's Cinnamonbar. You called "Iland" "Island!" It is stupid to make such a horrible guide. The cover is stupid, the information inside is stupid, and even the people who say 5 stars or four-and-a-half stars are total IDIOTS!

The author rushed and didn't care what he wrote. This guide stinks! It has every mistake I cold imagine! I recomend the Prima! That guide has everythink! This guide does not have a complete Snotedex. The Prima has a Pokedex. Prima rocks!
'Tendo is the worst guide. Don't buy this, you nag!

My Official Review of the Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen Version Player's Guide 2005-08-15
There is a lot of great information, however, I gave it only 3 stars instead of more stars because the pages fall out easily. My mom had to get a three-hole puncher and put it into a binder folder instead.

Great Guide 2005-08-02
This book is awesome! It tells about everything. I use it a lot too. It has a few battle moves pages. I like it because it has a great walk thru and pokedex.

um this is to edit the reveiw below 2005-01-27
gees why can't you EDIT your review.now i have to do this thing.....!!!!!
oh well.Anyways if you are looking for a good guide for this game this is the best one and it is not as bad as they say.It is as good as Nintendo power's ruby and sapphire guide and is worth the money.

My son liked it 2007-03-13
I'll have him write his own review but from what I've seen he hasn't put it down and he studies it like he's cramming for a test. It was very detailed and informative. He is 13 and very interested in good quality for what he needs in gaming.

Great 2006-03-15
This Book is great and really Helped Be Beat the Game so People should deffinetly buy this (and to the person who said it was cinamonbar you are totally wrong! and this would have to be the best guide because the creator of this game made it!)

I do not have it , friend has it . Useful. :) 2006-01-23

Hint hint:use table of contence.

It may be faster!!!:)
