Very Helpful and nice poses

When I bought this book I was a little unsure if it would be helpful or not, but I'm relly glad I got it! It has tons of helpful poses and some I probaly wouldnt have thought of! It has some nudity so be wary of that, and it also has some bedroom scenes at the end. Not for young children, but other than that very good book.
Menga's books tend to be a little advanced, becuase, they have alot to teach.

This book is an execellent tool for intermediate to advanced artists. It contains some sexual content.
GREATEST HTDM BOOK! 2007-11-22
This is gonna be a simple review. This book is the best book HTDM haves ^^ i own about 10 or 13 HTDM books and this one is by far my favorite one, i use this one alot so it well deserves its 5 stars
Excellent resource 2007-10-03
I received this book as a gift recently. It is a very helpful addition to my "arsenal" of "How to Draw Manga" books. This book covers many things, including holding hands, embracing, and kissing. There is also a bit about love making, but it is by no means graphic.
I was also quite happy to find that the book covers same sex couples in addition to male-female couples.
I highly recommend this book to any aspiring manga artist!
Awesome Book ! 2007-07-11
I use it all the time for my couples and such. This shows great ways to draw kissing to intimate to marriage scene. It's reocmmended if you do this a lot and you love it. The illustrations are out of this world on how they show things popular with couple drawings. ^^
ok but lacking in areas 2007-06-10
As far as "hetro couples" its pretty good. It is lacking in MALExMale sections. I notice their IS a GirlxGirl section. Its somewhat anoying that they left the guys out. Thankfully theirs a "how To Draw Yaoi " book coming. Hopefully its a GOOD refrence and not as Haft done as the "How to Draw Males"
it does show alot of lovey dovey poses and such though the style used on some parts i dont care for. (theres like 4 different artists contributing to this.
Nice book! 2007-02-01
This book is very useful; it does show women in the nude, (startled me.) but only top-wise, and has alot of useful tutorials.
Wonderful book 2006-12-19
I knew that I wanted this book when I first laid my eyes on it. Inside this book it shows you the theory behind drawing couples, from dating to making love, and techniques of manga artists' as a added bonus. This book has little sample images of couples meeting in public, going on a date, and them walking together. Another good thing about this book is that they give you examples of how to correctly draw the couples together holding hands, jumping on one another, and kissing playfully. So if you are looking for a book that has couples ( as well as same sex couples) then this is definately for you! This book would be ideal for those looking to create a love story manga. For those who object to nudity, I don't recommend this book. It has nude scenes as well as sexual situations. This is also NOT a kid friendly book!
its ok

This book wasnt really that helpful, but it was just ok. There was nothing new in it that I didnt already know. but if a person doesnt know alot about couples and positions then this is the book to get.
Was good.. just not what I was looking for 2006-01-21
This was a good book, and some of the ideas in it were great, but I wish that they would have put more embarissing/sweet sceens into it. So if your looking for things like the guy accidentally falling on the girl, or a guy maddly blushing when a girl comes on to them ,or anything else like that, then this book isn't for you. But it does have some good sceens with hugging and kissing and stuff like that. There was also brother sister, and Big sis, little sis(vise versa) pair ups to so that was an added bonus. All in all, it was good, but it could have been better. I just hope they come out with a second volume like this one but with a little more of the suprising sceens in them!
