Following a brief historical introduction, the tape focuses on the six major rose types and how to select the right kind for individual needs. It also includes tips on soil analysis and making a raised flower bed, advice on transplanting bare root and potted roses, and a quick overview of pruning. In short it is true to its title.
This program provides an excellent start for growing roses.

An excellent start for growing these beauties in a home garden. The camera gets in very close during the pruning demonstration to show viewers the exact spot to cut a cane (branch). This is a basic and simple presentation. Recommended.
