This recording is nice, but I like the album "Forever More" which has many of the same selections. Given a choice, I would take "Forever More".

The best place to start for an healthy dose of this smooth cat

One of the smoothest, most passionate soul crooners ever to step in front of a microphone, the career of James Ingram has been hurt somewhat by the fact that his individual albums are often uneven and often filled with material that is much less special than his voice. He's also achieved great success as a wildly popular guest artist who has been the male lead on a number of memorable duets. This collection does an adequate job of collecting most of his essential singles, but it's also relatively small, missing a couple of great songs, and so far, there has not been a proper James Ingram anthology of 20 or more songs.

THIS IS A VERY REFRESHING CD. I LOVE ALL THE SONGS AND IT IS SO FUN TO SIT BACK AND LISTEN TO ALL THE SONGS THAT WERE OUT . LOVE IT.

An underrated singer with a phenomenal voice!!!

James Ingram to me is one of the best singers of all time. His voice is very unique, and I love the fact that he doesn't have to riff in any of his songs. Listen to songs like How do you keep the Music Playing, and Baby, Come to Me, and you will see what I mean. James, come back out with a new album!!!!!

James Ingram has an incredible voice and that voice was put to good use on some wonderful songs during the 80's and 90's. Most of those songs are featured on this cd. A must have for James Ingram fans. If you like R&B, you have to check this out.

The title accurately sums up the content of this album. Every song on it is a winner, all performed to perfection by James Ingram. I hope he has something in the making to match what he has put forth in this CD. I say match because it will be hard to exceed the vibrancy, selection and execution of the songs on this album. Get to work James! We're waiting for another album of this caliber!

What a gorgeous cd. I love it. I've still got it on casette and now just bought it on cd. It is choc-full of some of the most beautiful songs sung by an amazing and soulful singer. He can really sing with emotion and soul and that's why he's still a favourite of mine. Just Once is one of those catchy ballads that you can't get out of your head and it's one of the best songs on here. Also there is the hit ballad Somewhere Out There which can make you cry because it's so good and the beautiful yet sad song I Don't Have The Heart and the old classic favourite Baby Come To Me. James is unfortunately very underrated, but if you hear these songs and his amazing voice, you won't understand why. He's one of the best in R&B and I want him to release new music. This is great and I highly recommend it.
