I got this item at a yard sale for $1 and he absolutely LOVES it! This is one of the toys that he never puts away. The best dollar I ever spent!

I bought this guitar for my nephew over 6 years ago, he just recently gave it back to me for my 9month old daughter to play with. It's still in great shape and a wonderful toy. We all enjoy playing it!! Great fun, great value.

I purchased this toy for my 2 year old son. He absolutely loves it! He had played with it before because his older cousin has one. I had searched in stores around me wanting to buy it but no one had it. Sure enough I found it on Amazon. It's a lot of fun to play with and he just loves to rock out with it. I definately recommend this toy!

I bought this pack a few months ago as my first electric guitar after playing an acoustic for half a year. First off, I give full marks to the speakers, it is an ideal volume for someone just starting and it sounds incredible for the size/price!!! Unfortunately thats pretty much the only two good sides to this pack. the guitar is made okay but the sound (even considering the price range) and the playability was off. The action was far too high and due to fret buzz couldnt be lowered. Also, one of the frets had a big dip in it which meant it couldnt be played on a couple strings. The strap that comes in the pack is also useless as the leather is so soft that it can come off while playing (just make sure you dont use it on a decent guitar) Me and my friend tried out the cheapest fender model, a squire affinity fat strat (with bridge humbucker) and it was far far better than this guitar. Great playability, very neatly made and a sound that was well out of its price rage in my oppinion. I suggest someone looking at this pack buy an amp to go with this. The straps and leads arent expensive and can also be bought seperately. If you go this way i think that you wont need to upgrade anything until you really do need high end equipment.

doesnt work

My son got this toy for Christmas and it too only lasted about 15 minutes. It only works if we keep taking the batteries out and putting them back in. When it works he likes it, but he has seen us beating on the darn thing so much trying to get it to work that he now beats on it.

3 guitars, none of them worked for more than 10 minutes.

My son wanted this toy after he played with a blue one at the doctor's office. We exchanged the first one after it failed to work at all once removed from the packaging. The second one failed within the first 10 minutes of use. Unbeknownst to me my brother bought my son an Elmo guitar as well -- it has never worked.

When I returned the toy I found that over 1/2 the 10 or so Elmo Guitars at 'Toys R Us' failed to work at all. I believe the earlier version was replaced with an inferior substitute that could never have passed any sort of conscientious quality control. Apparently this didn't bother Fisher-Price for there are plenty of Elmo guitars still on the shelves. Although discontinued they have not been recalled.

I wish that I could quantify the amount of fun this toy brought my child or its educational value, but, a toy must work for at least a few minutes to make this sort of appraisal.

I have never reviewed a product before, but this degree of manufacturer ineptitude should not go without mention.

My son took instantly to it but was quickly bored. The sound is not so good when you turn the volume down but other than that, it's a cute little toy.

Very fun 2002-11-19
My son got this for his birthday because someone saw him playing with his Sesame Street saxophone. I like this much more than the saxophone! There's more for him to do, more buttons to push and different things to do. The music, though loud, isn't annoying. And it won't make noise if you aren't actually playing with it (I wish I could say that about all his toys). It's definitely worth the money if your kid likes music and/or Sesame Street.

	Dora the Explorer Mr. Face Plush Backpack Review: My daughter is a big Dora fan and uses this backpack to carry around her favorite toys and books, which is why I gave it 5 stars for educational value. My friend's daughter has it as well, and love hers too. We've had it 6 months now and it's holding up just fine. The map opens up for an added bonus. My daughter likes to wear it and sing the backpack song from the show.
	Star Wars Episode III: Darth Vader Voice Changer Helmet Wow, do I ever wish they had this out when I was a kid! I bought it, and my wife, kids and I have all been playing with it. It has a chest box with several buttons that plays about 5 of Darth's quotes from the movies, or you can switch it to voice changer. The voice changer is fun! It has 3 different levels of depth for changing the voice. ... A must for Star Wars Geeks!!!!
