RCA WSP150 900 MHz WIRELESS SPEAKERS 2007-05-13
THIS IS AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT. WE WERE GOING TO HAVE THE HOUSE WIRED FOR SPEAKERS, BUT FOUND THAT IT IS NOW NOT NECESSARY. SAVED US A LOT OF MONEY!

Just OK for wireless! 2007-04-13
Had this set of speakers for close to a year now. They really are nothing special for the price. ONE problem is when running them on battery the signal seems to drift (if you lock in a signal at all)! They do come with power cord to plug each speaker into AC. I have outside wiring so this is no trouble. TWO if you walk between the transmitter and the speeakers the music cuts out.If you plan to buy these and run them on battery alone, and mounting them in a high traffic area (I mounted mine high above head level), DON'T PURCHASE THEM!

Is it just me? 2007-03-14
I'm shopping around for wireless speakers to use in a conference room at work so that I can pull in a few folks attending by teleconference.

I'm sorry, but I just don't think there's any way I could set this up on my conference table without some of my colleagues having to work very hard to conceal a grin, or even a snicker.

The problem, to put it delicately, is that the antenna is, well, er, it's um, kinda... WELL, JUST LOOK AT IT! A possible distraction.

Not worth it - terrible product, major vendor issues 2007-03-09
I bought this product as a gift for some friends - following the directions carefully, they were only able to get one of the speakers to work and that intermittantly - after I got the speaker system back from them, I gave it a try - bad results, worse this time - only static from one speaker - I double checked to make sure that I had installed everything correctly including making sure that the correct power adapters were attached to the speakers - no go - and, then, when I went to return it to the company from whom I bought it in Canada, I got the royal run around - finally after lots of phone calls and mail issues (don't get me started on "customs" issues) I returned the product and got the price of the speakers back - however, no refund on shipping either way which amounted to about $89 total - so ... two things: [1] the product is shabby and not worth the price (go to Sharper Image and buy theirs - better product, cheaper price) and [2] never buy anything from Amazon.com that is not from an American supplier.

RCA WSP 150 transmitter 2007-01-22
The transmitter light when connected to the Transmitter adapter and then plugged into the power will not stay on. It fades out and then nothing is possible. I spent a lot of time trying to get them to work (going to Radio Shack) and finally returned them The replacement was EXACTLY the same problem. There will not be a third time! Bad Bad Bad.

Don't buy these! 2006-12-13

One broke, other complete fuzz 2006-11-23
I purchased these speakers about a year ago. If you'd like to know what your likely useable time is with these speakers feel free to use this example. I'm on Amazon right now buying replacements (ANOTHER BRAND) for these that have completely failed. They worked fine at first, then got fuzzier. One quit completely tonight, no power..nothing. The other still "works" with lots of fuzz. I find myself re-tuning the signal a lot. Time for a replacement. If you intent to use wireless speakers spend some extra bones and get a different brand. I'm trying the Acoustic Research AW-871s now. They supposedly have better range. Don't settle for cheap unless you have to. You'll probably be replacing them in a year if your patience lasts that long! Don't say we didn't warn you!

Don't Waste Your Money! 2006-08-29
These speakers, in one word, suck. I made the mistake of buying them because they were so cheap. I guess I forgot the old adage "You Get What You Pay For", didn't I?

They worked "okay" when I first installed them.

In a week, I got bad signals and the speakers didn't work properly.

Worse purchase I've ever made!!

Don't make the same mistake I did, please! Spend the extra money and get quality speakers!

THESE WIRELESS SPEAKERS ARE GREAT FOR MY ELDERLY MOM!!! 2006-08-09
Purchased these speakers for my 88-year old mother so she wouldn't disturb her neighbors with the volume up so loud on her TV. They are WONDERFUL! She LOVES THEM!! (And so do her neighbors!) Also, they're apparently easy to install because an 80+ year old neighbor installed them for her. So glad I bought them! Highly recommended!!!!

Barely receives a signal 2006-07-29
I tried hooking these up to both an MP3 player and a stereo receiver. I had to turn the source volume way up (which I expected) in order to get a signal but it was extremely difficult to retain that signal. Halfway through a song, the transmitter would lose the signal for whatever reason and the speakers would emit REALLY loud feedback. Definitely not what you want to hear. After fiddling with the tuning on both the transmitter and speakers and getting the same results, I am returning these.
