Excellent Product

These labels are very clean and stirdy come with downloadable software which works incredibly well.
Great, but takes patience to learn

I love the software and the finished product looks great. I rated it down for user-friendliness. Memorex has the greatest helpline, though, if you get stuck. After talking to 4 people over 3 days, I finally got it right. The arrow for the feed into the printer is upside down (at least that's the way it is for my printer). I thought the jewel case backs lacked perforation and didn't understand why I'd need to use a paper cutter; but as it turned out, it was perfect when I turned the page around. The helpline folks helped me calibrate my printer. My design was off just a little--I needed to move it a few millimeters to the left and down. I recommend telephoning for help if you can't figure something out. They are very patient and very versed in the software. There is an extensive help menu, but I found that confusing.
Bargin

Compared to prices at Office Max and Office Depot you get savings of @5.00 for this item. The stores usuall do not have this item in stock and may or may not spec order.
Be wary.

While certain labels with this software are much more easier to work with such as the CDs and the general labels, I found this product much less than satisfactory.
The inserts and the software don't align too well and are a few centimeters off...especially on the lower half of the page. If one wants to keep the insert regardless of whether or not the "cut offs" are present it would be best if the paper was inserted within the opposite position in the paper tray in the printer so one can cut to the size needed.
Otherwise, I would suggest what another Amazon customer has done. Use cardstock paper....at least for the back inserts. And trim with either a scissors or paper cutter.
A product should do what it promises it will do. Unfortunately, this one does not. At least, within my experiance this does not measure up to what was previewed within the Memorex beginner's package w/ CD label stamper.
Two stars for at least being able to print the front side. Although it would have been nice if they had said so without stating they could do both when they cannot.

This is a nice product. However the software included is not that great. After receiving the product and seeing the paper type, I could have made my own jewel case inserts using card stock or plain computer paper. However the paper would have to be measured and cut to fit the jewel case.
If do not want to have to measure and cut your jewel case inserts then this product is for you.
2 star for the software included.
4 star for the jewel case inserts.
Easy to use

Inserts for CD jewel cases
works great..

After doing some looking, I purchased this product. It does work well, and the quantity enclosed is well worth the money. Just be careful of your software program so that you don't end up following the arrows on the individual sheets, and have the printouts being up-side down. This was my own fault for not reading before I got started.
works great..

After doing some looking around, I found this to be a very good bargin. The matte finish workes quite well, and the paper quality is very good as well. Looks professional. But before using, check your software. I followed the arrows printed on the sheets, and it ended up being printed up side down, and on the wrong end of the page. Not a problem with the product, just my lack of checking things out first.
Nice for home creations; not to be confused with Pro Labels

Although one will immediately get the impression that these are great, easy to use labels, digging deeper, they begin to reveal their problems. It seems as if with every other printing job, the alignment is off, even when used with a very professional and versatile printer. The labels are great when printing simple CD-R booklets for friends, but be weary. Even independent bands will be dissatisfied with these thin matte labels.
Will do...

I have used these labels for a long time, mostly because they seem to be the only ones out there. The paperstock is good, but if you have a good printer the paper won't do it justice. The labels always end up looking kinda cheap. I would love to see Memorex make a package with glossy paper/high end paper. Maybe Epson will beat them to it.
