Very Engaging

I have a 4 year old boy with developmental delays (cognitive, fine motor, speech)... so this was perfect for him. Between the games easy mouse use design (and me setting the mouse on a slower motion), he quickly became independent with the game. It became a great reward for good behavior after therapy sessions.

It has multiple activities, covering a wide range of abilities and interests: Coloring & Peek-a-Boo (perfect for young children learning how to control a mouse - all they have to do is move the mouse and the objective can be met); Shape Sorting & Bubble Popping (perfect for children who have more mouse control and learning basic preschool concepts; Alphabet & other matching activities (perfect for moving forward with those preschool concepts).

It's an older game, so you can install it on older computers easily, as well as new computers.

Terrific Software

I purchased this for my granddaughter when she was 18 mo old. Sheis now in Kindergartern and recently tested at the 2nd grade level. I believe this software helped her tremendously. I have purchased Reder Rabbit software for numerous friends and family. I just recently purchased it again for my 12 month old grandson and will begin using it with him. It is user friendly and fun!

Great Fun for Toddlers!

I purchased this for my daughter and she loves it. She is only two, but she really enjoys all the different games. It has really helped with her mouse skills and learning about how a computer works. Great for Computer Beginners. Highly Recommended!

Fantastic and engaging software for young minds

I'm impressed with the variety and level of activities the Reader Rabbit programs offer. I have a four-year old who is constantly finding new things with the Preschool software, and my three-year old is actively engaged with the Toddler software. Getting it as a bundle saved a bundle! Both kids like watching what the other is doing. They sing along with the songs and can't wait until they can play on the computer. This is much better software than we've had previous experiences with. I'd whole-heartedly recommend it to anyone thinking of purchasing children's educational software.

Nice assortment of activities

When my 2 year-old took an interest in our family computer, I helped him look around the Sesame Street website. When he kept hitting keys and clicking links that screwed everything up, I decided it was time to get him his own software. I bought Reader Rabbit Toddler because of the reviews, so I had to write one of my own. He's still trying to get the hang of it, but he loves the train and the baby animals games. He loses interest after about 10 minutes on any one activity, so I'm trying to show him how to go a different one within the program. I LOVE that he can hit any key and make the games work, and also that he doesn't have to click the mouse - just roll over a picture to get the same result. This is definitely a great investment (hardly an expensive one) to get your toddler accustomed to using the computer.

My daughter likes it..

She is almost 2 and she really likes the bubble castle, doesn't really get the whole move the mouse part, but the game is designed so the "smash keyboard" mentality of most 2 year olds actually does stuff :-)

I set this up for her on an old Pentium 233 running Windows 98 and it runs fine, so I don't care if she beats on it and will now leave my PC alone!

I think she will like it a lot more when she gets a little older and figures out how to use the mouse.

i have two kids ages 6 and 4 and we have had this game for over 4 years. we love it! we have had numerous other computer games but this one is right up there in our top two. my 4 year old still loves all the games (bubble castle and baby basket bingo are favs), and my 6 year old is still into the alphabet train. i love making music, the little ducks are my favorite! adorable sights and sounds in this game. beware though, the tunes from this are going to get stuck in your head for days, but are cute so it's worth it. :)

This program is totally interactive. My grandson -- who is two and a half and has a two and a half year old's attention span spent 25 to 30 minutes at a time playing with the shapes and bubble castle. A wonderful experience

Absolutely Wonderful

My grandson just turned 3. He loves this CD. It is easy for him to use because he doesn't need to click the mouse. It is still difficult for him to hold the mouse steady when he clicks. If the mouse moves, he doesn't get a response and then gets very frustrated. This CD eliminates that problem. The activities are great fun for him. He likes the coloring and the "bubble castle" best. I highly recommend this CD.
